The sacrifice

Kara's pov
Its good to know my daughter grew up in a safe and loved household. I would die is I let her grew up alone; unloved. We hear alarms go off and we head to the control center. "Looks like our friends, John Deegan, escaped Arkham Asylum again. He said he wants us to give him back his test subject." Brainy says. "Test subject?" Sara asks "Me. Im his test subject. He wants me." Hope says. We all look at her. "Well we can't do that. We just got you back. You're still healing." Iris says.

"I'm sorry but who are all of you?" Hope asks.
"I am Sara. I am friends of Oliver." Sara says "I'm Barry. This is my wife, Iris and this is Caitlin. I guess you can say I'm your godfather." I smile at what Barry says. "I'm Nia, this is Brainy, Lena, J'onn and Alex.Kara's sister." Nia says. "And I'm Thea. Oliver's sister." Thea says (There are more of them but I feel to lazy to make introductions just think of everyone during crisis on infinite earths)

"Okay." Hope says as she looks down to the floor. "We have to go. John is attacking the city." Alex says. We change to our suits and are ready to head out when Oliver speaks "Whoa! Where the you think you're going?" he says at Hope who looked like was coming with us "I'm coming with you." she says "No. You are not. You are staying here to rest. You're still weak." Oliver says. "You can't stop me." Hope says "Hope. Listen to me. You are staying here. I've already failed at protecting you before. This is the least I could do. Stay with Lena and Felicity." he says and she does.

Hope's pov
I can't believe I'm stuck here. I want to go and help. I sit with my arms crossed.

"You know I dated your father before he met your mom." Felicity says "They are not my parents." I say harshly. "You're gonna have to forgive them sooner, you know. What they did was to keep you safe. Trust me. You can't hate them forever. I know what's that like. I've through that." Lena says. "What do you mean?" I ask curiously as I face her "Well. My brother was actually Kara and Clark's -Superman; her cousin's- enemy. When I found out Kara's secret identity of being Supergirl. I was mad. I could never forgive her. I had to get back at her. I lied to her, used her, betrayed her, and hurt her. But at the end, I forgave her because I know that she did it to keep me safe and with after all I did, she also forgave me with after everything that I did. So don't hate to much cuz it can lead to something  worse" she says and I think but then we hear people shouting from the coms.

"NO! DON'T HURT HER. IF YOU TOUCH HER I WILL KILL YOU!" we hear Oliver shout "Olliver? Oliver? What's happening. We lost cam." Then one camera shows. They were losing. "We have to help them." I say "We can't go there its not safe." Lena says "I don't care." Is as I run out of the place and I hear them shout my name. I didn't realize I run super fast that I came to the battle field fast.

Before John stabs Kara with the krptonite, I shout "NO! STOP!" he stops in time and looks at me "Well, well. If it isn't Hope. Come to join the party?" he says  "Hope. Get out of here!" Kara shouts while John holds her by the neck. I only look at John "Its me who you want. Let them all go and I'll go with you willingly." I say as I close my eyes thinking of what I went through when I was with him. "No! Hope don't." Thea says "Please not for us." Kara pleads to me.

"Oh but that's the thing, Hope. I've realized that you will never help destroy good. You will always be meant to end evil. So while your still well weak. I thought I should take matters into my own hands." John says as he suddenly throws the Krptonite dagger towards me. Aiming for my heart. I close my eyes thinking I would be hit when I suddenly hear a grunt. I open my eyes and I see Oliver on the ground. Before he falls, he shoots an arrow to John. Killing him.

I shout "NO!" and I kneel beside him while the others run towards us. "Nonononono! Why?!" I tell him. "Because you are my daughter. I swore to protect you when you were a baby. I failed to do that when we lost you. I won't fail again when I got you back." he says as he spits blood out "No. Ollie!" Thea says Kara holds his hand as she cries and I hold his wound, I also cry  "No. Please. Please don't die. How am I supposed to forgive you too?" he laughs and says "Finally. That's what I wanted to hear. I love you both so much" he says as he close his eyes "No. Please! WE HAVE TO GET HIM OUT OF HERE!" i shout and Barry carries him to the med bay.

His heart rate is dropping. "Oliver. Please ." Kara says as she moves aside. "Don't go. Please. Dad."

Kara's pov
She called him dad. I hear. Oliver is dying. They perform CPR for minutes when his heart rate normalized. I let out a sigh and drop to my knees. Alex catches me. Hope then runs out. I'm stand up and follow her.

"Hope. Hope! Wait." I shout to her and she stops at the balcony. "Why-why'd he so that?! It was supposed to be me!" she says crying I then hug her and she doesn't resist. "Because he loves you. You're our daughter. We would protect you no matter the cost." I say to her she pull back "How are you so calm?" she asks "I'm used to it. Sometimes I just hide what I feel to make sure people have hope." I say to her. goes over to the balcony and sits down on the ground "Why does this keep happening to me. The people I care about get hurt." she says. She cares about us. "Because we are heroes. And bad people tend to hurt the people we care about." I say as  I sit beside her. She leans on my shoulder. She cries.

We sit there for a few minutes. I break the silence "You called him dad." I say and she looks at me. Her eyes still red and puffy. "I don't know. I just said it." she then looks down. "Hey. uhm I'm sorry about what I said before. I was just mad. I didn't think straight. I acted to harshly on you guys when all you wanted was to take care of me. I should've given you a chance. I am so sorry." She tells me. "You have nothing to be sorry for. It was also our fault because we gave up. If we hadn't, maybe you'd never had gone through that." I say as I remove strands pf hair from her face. "Yeah but if you hadn't, I never would've had my family who took care of me." she says as she laughs. I then notice her dimples. The same dimples I poked when she was a baby when she would laugh.

I hug her "Can-can I call you mom?" she asks I look at her speechless "Its only of you want but if you don't it fine." she says "Of course I'd want that. I've been waiting for you to say that to me for a long time." i say as i have tears in my eyes she then hugs me "I'm sorry it took too long then." she says.

We sit there for a few minutes when Alex comes "Oliver's awake." she says. We both stand and head to Oliver.

Oliver's pov
I wake up but I don't see Kara or Hope. I sit down and Sara helps me. I see Thea "Where-where are they?" I ask holding my wound. "I'll call them." Alex says.

A few minutes later, Kara comes running in and she hugs me. I then see Hope from behind Kara, her eyes were red. I hold out my hand. "I'm sorry this happened to you." she says as she starts to cry. I pull her in for a hug. "Oh, Hope. Don't be sorry. I choose this. Don't blame yourself for my actions." I say as I rub her back. She then smiles. I then notice does dimples on her face. This is the first time she's smiled.
