Taking care of you

Hope's pov
I run out of the tower and head to a bay. I hold onto my stomach because of the pain. I look at the sea. It was so peaceful. I sit down at the bench and fiddle with my necklace. Its the necklace that those people gave me but I added a ring my mom gave to me when I was a kid. Mom said dad gave it to her when they started dating. I fiddle with it.

I look up at the sky "Mom, dad. Wherever you are. I promise I will come back. Please don't forget that." I thought. I then feel tears down my face "I love you guys." I whisper. I then put my face on my hands and cry.

I just stood up and kept walking. I stop cuz the pain kept getting worse. I rest at a bench. "Hope. Please. Come with us. You're not healing yet." I look up and it was Kara. I stand and walk away from them "Leave me alone!" I tell them "Get mad at us all you want but please. Let us heal you first." Oliver says. I then stumble. He catches me and I try to get out of his arms but I was weak.

He brings me back to the tower and puts me under those lamps again and I pass out.

Kara's pov
"We found her just near the bay." I tell Alex. "She looked hurt." i added "Its a good thing you found her in time. Her wounds are worsening." Caitlin says

I can't fail her anymore. Not again. Not ever. Okiver and I then watch her sleep.

Hope's pov
Ugh. I'm back here. Im feeling better now. I slowly sit up and they help me sit. I pull away from them. They look disappointed. "Please at least let us help you." Oliver says.

"I don't need your help not now; not ever." I say. "What can we do to let you forgive us." Kara says. I look at her "Take me back to my family." Kara then looks down. "We can't do that. Not while Steppenwolf is out there." Oliver says. I lean back at the bed "Then leave me alone first. Please." I say as I close my eyes

"God. Why." I say as I was left alone in the room. I then sit and put my head in my hands crying. I shout.

Oliver's pov
We leave the med bay and we hear her cry. It breaks my heart hearing my daughter in pain. It hurts enough having her hate us but seeing her suffer is enough. I need to make things right.

I talk to Kara in a room. "We need to talk to her." I say "How? She hates us." she says as she looks at her hands. "She doesn't. She just needs time to think with what she's going through." I say.

"I saw her save someone before we found her. You know?" Kara says. "What do you mean?" I ask. "While we were looking for her. I actually saw her before going to the bay. She fights like you. Maybe one day you can teach her how to use a bow and arrow." she said. "I'd like that." i tell her

Alex then comes in the room and says "She's at the balcony just so you know. Maybe you should talk to her now." I then mouth "Thank you." to her and we go out.

Hope's pov
I look out at the city and I've never seen a city this beautiful. New York was nice but it was a mess. LA didn't have buildings like this. I then hear Oliver and Kara behind me.

I felt the need to know. I look over my shoulder "Why did you stop looking for me. And don't give the  'To keep you safe' bullshit. Tell me the truth." I say. "Like we said, you were teleported away from us when you were a baby. Because of a prophecy about you. We tried looking for you but we decided we had to stop. We had to because if you were with us then the prophecy would come true." Oliver says I was confused so I face them."What prophecy?" I ask. Kara looks down "When you were born, there was a prophecy about you. That you would be the greatest and strongest being on the entire multiverse. With your power, you would be the destruction of all evil. But if lead to the wrong path, you would be the end to all goodness. But at the cost of it. You would- You would die." her voice breaking as she says the last sentence.

"So thats why you stopped searching for me. To make sure the prophecy doesn't happen and I don't die." I say as I look at them. They nod. "Can we please go in. You still need to rest." Oliver says. I follow them in to the med bay.

"You still have your necklace." Kara says as she points to the chain around my neck. "Yeah. Uhm it makes me feel safe." I say. "What's that ring?" she asks as she sees my mom's ring. "When I was a kid, my mom gave it to me. It was a gift my dad gave to her when they started dating to show how much my dad loves my mom." I say as i fiddle with it.

"You can ask me things if you want to, you know?" I say and they look up with smiles on their faces. Maybe I should give them a chance as I was too hard on them. "What is your life like?" Kara asks. "My life is pretty good. I have a brother and a sister. Im the eldest though. My parents. They are the best. They were the ones who found me when I was a baby. Maybe my parents have doppelgängers here." I say "Really. That's good to know. Who are your parents. Maybe we can see if they have doppelgängers here." Oliver says "Uhm. Taylor Alwyn and Joe Alwyn. or maybe Taylor Swift. Mom uses Swift for public appearances." I say. "Wait your mom is the Taylor Swift?" a doctor says I think her name was Caitlin. I nod. "So she and Joe are still dating then." she adds "Married" I correct "So i'm guessing they are also here but broken up?." I ask and they nod "Do they have kids?" I look at Caitlin "No they don't." she says I frown
