The Surprise

Taylor's pov
The album is finally released. The tickets for the tour are also out just recently. Surprisingly, i thought no one would go. But all the shows so far were sold out. We were at New York and I was just headed home from the studio.

I enter the penthouse and see Joe feeding Hope. We've had Hope for 5 months now and these few months have been the best. "How was your day, darling?" Joe asks me and I answer "It was good. All shows were sold out." Joe smile and says "Well that's good. Oh. By the way, my parents are coming for Christmas and they want to finally meet Hope in person. We should start buying presents." I sit next to Joe and take Hope from his arms and say "Okay. Can you believe it? We are having our first Christmas with Hope. These 5 months have been the best" Joe smiles and pulls me closer to him "I know. I wish we could stay this way forever." he says as we cuddle

Joe's pov
My parents are here. And I've come to pick them up from the airport. Taylor's staying at home with Hope since we can't risk letting the public see her as no one knows about her but our friends and family.

I arrive at the airport and see my parents. I hug them and they are excited to meet Hope.

We arrive at the penthouse and when they see Hope they immediately take her out of Taylor's arms which makes the both of us laugh. "She's gorgeous" mum says. I smile while looking at my parents carry their granddaughter. Dad says "You better watch out, son. We might replace you with her." All of us the laughs

Taylor's pov
Its New Year's Eve and we hosted a countdown party for our friends and family. But only to those who know about Hope.

Its almost New Year. I was holding Hope while we were counting down and when it reached to zero. The room erupted to claps and cheers. I kissed Hope in the cheek and the turned to face Joe and when I did I was left speechless.

Everyone around me was looking at us all shocked. Joe was on his knees. He was holding out a box which had a diamond ring in it. "Taylor Allison Swift. I've known you for 2 and a half years already and these 2 and a half years have been the best years of my life. We've been through so much already and we were there for each other on our ups and downs. Now today in front of everyone. I would like to be there on your ups and downs forever and love you forever. Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" I then start crying. I nod and say yes! he puts the ring on my finger and kisses me. Everyone around us then claps and cheer for us.
