Third person pov
After her death, they all travel back to Earth Prime. They prepare for her funeral.

As they arrive back, they all settled down first and announced to their worlds about Hope's sacrifice. All  cities destroyed and people killed by Darkseid were back.

They all head to Earth 13. Hope wanted to be buried there. Her childhood home.

George, who couldn't deal with her death, ran away. He couldn't accept her passing.

At the Alwyn's, the Wales siblings' were with the Alwyn siblings. they're waiting for George to come home. "We have to find him." Louis says quietly . "He needs to be there." he adds. "I'll find him." Charlotte says. "We'll go with you. It's the least we could do for our sister." Mia says, who was cuddling beside her brother, thinking of her sister again. Remember her last talk with her best friend. they sneak out not wanting to worry their parents and look for George.

They head to London and decide to check at George and Hope's spot.

Once they get to the beach, they find George. Still in the suit he was wearing two days ago at the dinner to honor Hope. Once they get closer to him, they find bottles of beer.

"George?" Charlotte says as she slowly approaches her grieving brother. George slowly turns. They could see him holding something. His eyes puffy and red.

When George sees his sister, he breaks down into tears again. Charlotte and Louis then slowly drops to their brother's side and hug him.

"I miss her so much." George says in between tears as he hugs his siblings tightly. "It's okay, George. We are here for you." Charlotte says. She then looks at Louis who was also trying not to cry

"We miss her too." Louis says. Mia and Will then walk in front of them and sit in front of George. Mia holds George's hands. She gulps down trying not to cry.

She's also can't accept her sister's death. She wishes things went out differently. Wished she'd done more. "We miss her so much and it hurts-" Mia says she then looks away and closes her eyes. Gathering up courage to talk. "It hurts so much waking up everyday knowing my best friend is dead." she says with her voice breaking. Tears start streaming down her face. Will hugs her sister.

"I never thought this day would come. The day I'd lose my sister. I.. I never thought I'd have to walk a world without my her in it. The sister who gave her life up for me and Mia." Will says as he looks up to the sky trying not to cry but he fails.

"This was never supposed to happen." George says tightening his grip on the box he was holding. "I had a plan. I had a plan for our future. I-" George stops as he brings his knuckles to his mouth crying. He closes his eyes then opens them.

"I was supposed to ask her to marry me." George says as he shows the small box he's been holding.

He opens it and it shows a beautiful engagement ring. It was surrounded by diamonds with a runt in the center and a crown on its side. The ruby both George and Hope's birthstone. Ot also had both of their initials engraved in it.

It was gorgeous. "I was supposed to ask her to marry me the day after Granny Diana's birthday party. I was supposed to take her out here. It was all prepared. I just never got chance." he says as he holds the ring. Focusing on it. "I should have just asked her." he says crying more. Remembering Hope dying in his arms. Watching as her she was slowly slipping away from him. "I was so scared on what she'd say to me once I'd ask her." George says letting out a little laugh.

"She would have said yes." Mia says and George faces her. She shrugs and smiles. "She would've said yes." Mia says again giving a reassuring look making George smile.

"I wish we had more time." George says again seriously. Thinking about his plan. "I wish I had more time with her." he says as he takes the rings back and holds it. Looking at it deeply. "I had a plan. I was already preparing everything for the both of us. I was looking for houses to stay with her. To start a family. I planned it all for her. I wanted everything for her." George says as he fiddles with the rings.

He drops the ring on the sand and brings his knees to his chest. He then looks at the waves. Rising and crashing. "She is...was my whole world. She was my everything. Now I've lost her." George says quietly as tears fall. "I would trade anything just to see her, feel her with me." he says.

Charlotte and Louis then hug their brother. Dealing with the lose of their friend. The girl who died to save them. The person who they loved as their own sister.

"We will always be her for you, George. You're our brother. Know that whatever you are going through, we are here. Mum and dad are here." Louis says as he sniffles. "And wherever Hope is, she is also here with us." Charlotte says.

"Please. Let's go back home. Hope wouldn't want this. She wouldn't want her death to end up you drinking everyday." Charlotte says as she stands and holds her hands out waiting for George to take it. And. He takes it. She then helps him stand.

"What if I can't take it." George says as he puts the rings in his pocket. "Then we will be here with you." Charlotte says as she holds her brother's hand.

Once they get back to Nashville, they are greeted by their parents with worried looks on their faces. "There you guys are." Taylor says as she hugs her two kids. Worrying something has happened to them. She couldn't bear lose any more of her children. Watching their daughter die was enough for the both of them. "Where did you go?" the King asks George as he hugs his kids. "I had to clear my head. Find some peace." George says as he put his hand in his pocket. Katherine and William understood what it meant so they hug their firstborn.

They change and get ready to head to one of the Alwyn's estate since that was where Hope was going to be buried. Near her family.

As her coffin is slowly being lowered to the ground, they start throwing white roses in it. When it reached George, he stopped. He closed his eyes and whispered "I love you so much. Always and Forever. Nothing will change that." he then kissed the flower and tossed it in with the others. "I'll wait for you" he adds. He then feels his siblings' warm hug as they comfort him.

Once the coffin was covered up, everyone starts leaving one by one. Leaving George standing alone. Watching her grave. It's his turn to watch over her now. He sits beside her grave and just fiddle with the engagement ring.

At night, George was asked to go in the house and he does. Once he enters with his blazer in his arm, he stops when he sees the Alwyn's and his parents at the table sitting quietly. The other heroes have left to go back to their earth to mourn.

George sits at the table and puts the ring on the table. Joe gets confused when he sees it. "What's that?" he asks quietly. "It's the ring I was supposed to give Hope when I was going to ask her to marry me." George says. Joe sits straight and stutter for a bit. "You-you were going to propose to her?" Joe asks. "I was. I never even got the chance to ask." George says. "She would've said yes." Taylor says still in disbelief of her daughter's death. She then gives a subtle smile. Deep down she's trying not to cry again.

No one know how to deal with Hope's death. But in time, maybe they'll learn and be able to honor her sacrifice. And remember the life of their daughter, sister, friend, and love.
