YUNHO

yunho stared at his phone, the picture of mingi with pretzels as fangs fading out after a few seconds with the screen going dark again.

mingi had called seven times.

yunho wanted to answer, he just didn't know how. plus with giselle watching him like a hawk, yunho felt trapped.

looking around giselles room, you wouldn't even be able to tell it was hers. the walls were painted a soft banana color with brown furniture. the room was simple, a desk, mounted tv, vanity dresser, and a queen sized bed with a mountain of unicorn and bunny plushies.

giselle stepped out of the adjoining bathroom with a towel wrapped around herself. she smiled at yunho and walked towards him. yunho swallowed.

"yunho-ah." she hummed, sitting on his lap and straddling him.

"yeah?" yunho asked, reluctantly wrapping his hands around her waist.

"we're seniors and still haven't had sex. we always get so far but then you stop. are you afraid?" she asked.

yunho didn't answer. it wasn't like he didn't want to have sex.. he just didn't want to do it with giselle yet.

"i'm not scared, just waiting for the right moment." yunho said after a second.

"and when is that?" giselle whined.

yunho shook his head with a sigh, "i don't know, maybe graduation?" he said.

"graduation?" she huffed.

"i just need time, sex is a big thing." yunho said, starting to sit up but giselle pushed him down.

"cmon yunho-ah, it's just sex. don't say you don't want it, i can almost feel your dick poking my ass." she said.

"giselle-"

then yunhos phone rang, he looked over.

mingi.

yunho reached over and quickly grabbed the phone.

"mingi! oh you need me? it's really important?? alright i'll be there in 10!" yunho said, not hearing anything mingi was saying.

he quickly hung up and slipped giselle off of him, then grabbed his things.

"yunho are you serious? your blowing me off?" giselle stood.

"i'm sorry, it's important." yunho said, leaving giselles room and skipping down the stairs.

"because it's mingi? god yunho seriously-"

"i'll see you later." yunho quickly unlocked the door and jogged out to his car.

he watched as giselle slammed the door.

never had yunho been so happy about mingis tendency to call until yunho picked up.

yunho anxiously tapped the steering wheel.

he sat in front of mingis house.

it had been about a week and a half since they last talked, most of which was yunhos fault—okay, all of it being yunhos fault.

he ran a hand through his hair, then slightly jumped at the sudden knock on the window.

he unlocked the door for mingi, who climbed in wearing a hoodie and sweats.

"geez you stink-" yunho joked

he looked over and saw a large red bruise on mingis cheek, then marks on his neck.

"mingi what happened??" yunho asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"can you just, drive?" mingi said quietly.

yunho wanted to press further but he knew better than to press an issue with mingi when he didn't want to talk.

and so, yunho started the car and drove off.

yunho watched as mingi walked out of the bathroom with pajama pants and a hoodie on. he rubbed his wet hair with a towel.

mingi was always someone who made yunho smile, how could he not after seeing that face?

the way mingi listened when yunho ranted on, or showed up to every basketball game and tournament and even practice just to support yunho made his heart ache with what had to be admiration, right? after all, yunho didn't like his best friend. that's just what they were, best friends. nothing more and nothing less.

mingi sat on the palet that yunho had made, the former insisting on sleeping there.

"so what happened?" yunho finally asked.

again, yunho was met with silence.

he sighed and got up, turning the light off and getting back into bed.

"fine, tell me, don't tell me." he huffed, wrapping up in the blankets.

yunho closed his eyes and tried to go to sleep, then mingi spoke quietly.

"earlier." he said.

yunho turned and scooted to the end of the bed, then looked down at mingi, who was staring at the hardwood floor.

"it was my dad."
