Jungkook's Dual Empire

Jungkook steps out of his sleek black sports car, the engine purring before silencing with a final, controlled hum. His sharp gaze sweeps over the towering JJK Corporation, a symbol of his undeniable success. To the world, it’s a legitimate business empire, a leader in finance, technology, and high-end luxury brands. But beneath the polished glass walls and immaculate offices lies the foundation of his true power—the underworld empire he built with blood, sweat, and ruthlessness.

As he strides through the grand entrance, his presence alone demands attention. Employees halt mid-step, heads bowing slightly in respect. Some tremble in fear, while others—especially the young women—steal adoring glances, whispering amongst themselves.

"He’s so powerful… and so damn gorgeous."

"Do you think he even notices people like us?"

Jungkook, of course, notices everything. He simply doesn’t care.

His personal assistant, Kim Seungwan, rushes to his side, tablet in hand. "Good morning, sir. Your schedule today includes a board meeting at ten, followed by a private negotiation with our overseas partners. There’s also an update from our financial team regarding the expansion project—"

Jungkook lifts a hand, silencing her effortlessly. "Walk with me."

Seungwan matches his stride, quickly summarizing the most critical updates. Jungkook listens, his mind calculating outcomes before she even finishes speaking. JJK Corporation must continue to dominate, just as his criminal empire does. There is no room for failure.

The Boardroom: A Game of Power

Inside the grand conference room, the board members are already seated, tension thick in the air. Jungkook takes his place at the head of the table, fingers tapping rhythmically against the polished surface.

"Let’s begin," he commands, voice low yet authoritative.

The executives dive into discussions about quarterly profits, stock projections, and upcoming product launches. Jungkook listens, his sharp mind dissecting every detail, every hidden hesitation. Numbers and strategies flash in his mind, calculating potential moves like a grandmaster in a chess game.

One executive, Choi Minseok, clears his throat, shifting uncomfortably under Jungkook’s intense gaze. "Sir, while the expansion into the European market has been promising, we’ve encountered resistance from rival companies. Their influence—"

"—is irrelevant," Jungkook interjects smoothly. His cold stare lands on Minseok. "We don’t compete. We dominate. I don’t care what obstacles they present. If they refuse to cooperate, we will make them."

Silence.

No one dares challenge him. They know better.

"Find a way to remove their influence," Jungkook continues, his voice calm but laced with warning. "Legally or otherwise. Understood?"

A collective nod. Message received.

The Underworld’s King

As the meeting concludes, Jungkook retreats to his private office, a sanctuary that bridges his two worlds. Unlike the corporate luxury outside, this space is darker, colder—a reflection of the empire that truly belongs to him.

His phone vibrates.

A secured line.

Jungkook leans back in his chair, answering with measured patience.

"It’s done," a gruff voice reports.

"Good," Jungkook replies, his tone void of emotion. "Send me the details. Any loose ends?"

"None that can be traced back to us."

A ghost of a smirk touches Jungkook’s lips. His men never disappoint.

Before he can end the call, another number flashes on his screen—an unknown caller. His smirk fades.

He presses the answer button, bringing the phone to his ear.

Silence.

Then—

"Jeon Jungkook."

The voice is unfamiliar, laced with amusement yet unsettling in its confidence.

"You don’t know me. But I know you."

Jungkook’s fingers tighten around the phone. "Is that so?"

"Oh, very much so. And soon… you’ll know me too."

A slow exhale leaves Jungkook’s lips. He doesn’t like mysteries, and he certainly doesn’t like threats.

"State your business," he orders.

The voice chuckles.

"Let’s just say… we have a mutual acquaintance. A certain university student. A boy named—"

The line goes dead.

Jungkook lowers the phone, eyes narrowing. His patience is thin, and whoever just dared to call him will soon learn exactly who they’re dealing with.

Who the hell was that?
