Chapter nine: Mom is here

"In Jesus name. Lord I thank you for everything... Even though...I got bad news...today...but...I thank you for life...even if it is going...to...end...I still thank you...Please forgive us our sins...and be with us...through this journey...through the remaining two years...Let's be happy...Amen" I prayed while crying

"Amen. Stop crying babe please" Evan said as I smiled sadly and I hugged him and felt his abs and his packs (8). I would miss when he rubbed going to the gym in my face and when he forced me to eat when I was so stubborn or sad. I was so sad that I cuddled him through out the afternoon while watching TV. I really loved him and I never knew it till today. I would never leave him even after death. I am 23 and he would die when I was 25. So, I could adopt a new born child and train him/her as my own and with the impression that Evan is his/her dad.

"Babe" I said a s Evan looked at me "Before you die we will adopt a new born child and we would raise the child together" I said as Evan smiled

"That's awesome but why can't we have ours?" Evan said

"Do you want to marry me?" I asked

"Do you want to be married?" Evan asked as I smiled

"Yes but by only you" I said as we both laughed

"I would miss you" Evan said

"Same but let's forget about that" I said as Evan smiled

"So what gender do you want us to make?" Evan smiled

"What gender do you want?" I said

"A girl to represent you and the love I have for you" Evan smiled

"A girl? That seems nice. We will work on that later" I laughed 

"Hmm...Fair enough" Evan smiled as I cuddled him beck and he kissed my forehead.

"I love you" He said 

"I love you too" I said as he smiled and I felt his cheek widen. After the movie we have dinner, Evan took his medications and I slept in his arms, in his room. I mean our room. Eventually. Mike found out but the three of us decided tp keep it secret. Evan's mom knew and she came to visit the week after. 

I was with Mike and Evan and then we heard a knock on the door. It was Evan's mom came to visit.

"Hi" I said as Evan's mom hugged me and Mike. Then she hugged Evan.

"How are you guys doing?" She said with tears in her eyes

 "We are fine mom" I said. Yes I called her mom. My parents died in an airplane crash on their way to their 10th wedding  anniversary. So since I and Evan became a couple I called his mom "mom". His dad was a pastor in a church and he died from Cancer. So the pain was to hard for his mom to bear. Although, he had a sister who died from a heart attack. So the thought of all her children dying is killing her. Although, like everyone else she was relying on God for solace. She was loved me and took me and Mike as her children and I took her as my mom. I had a text from Leo and I told him I forgave him but I wouldn't date him. I told him that I was dating Evan. I also said we were be still friends and I held no grudge against him. I made dinner and we all ate and slept.

The next day, I went to school. I had three lectures. I came back by 3pm and saw Evan sleeping on the coach with a bible in his hand and his prayer book beside him. In it was a prayer he wrote. The heading was KAYLEE. I was interested in it since the heading was my name. In it he wrote

Dear LORD GOD, I know my days are numbered. I pray for healing. I don't  want to break Kaylee. I want to be with her forever so we can worship you till kingdom come. LORD, if I am going to die please protect Kaylee for me. Show the unconditional and reckless love she deserves. Let her find solace in you. Let her not be depressed. Let us meet in heaven even if we won't remember ourselves. Constantly remind Kaylee that I am always with her even after death because this love is for infinity. It lasts even after death. Let her always remember me. Let her have the zeal to live for you. Protect her and take care of her for me. Amen.

I cried when I read it. I kissed his forehead and kept the book beside him. I went in change into something casual and then I dozed off. I woke up by 7pm and saw Mike and Evan eating takeout and laughing over a movie.

"You guys had takeout without me?" I said smiling

"Come on babe, I got one for you too" Evan said as sat near him and prayed over my food then I ate it. We were watching a movie then Evan's mom came back from the store.

"Hey mom" I smiled as she patted my head making it messy but I did not mind. I loved her and Evan. Mike hugged her as Evan pecked her cheek and I smiled. Leo called me when she went inside and Evan picked the call.
