We all sat down and the movie. It was on Netflix. The name was IN HIS ABSENCE. It is a movie about a guy who loved a girl but died before he could tell her and the girl actually liked the guy. I absolutely cried at the end. I was so emotional.
"Why are you crying hun?" Evan asked me
"Nothing. It's so sad that they never expressed their feelings to each other" I said
"She has always been so emotional" Mike said
"I can tell" Hana laughed as Mike's phone let out a loud ring and suddenly all eyes were on him. He looked at the caller ID and it was a random number.
"Hi, who is this" Mike asked gently
"Hi Mike it's Laura" Laura said gently
"What is it?" Mike asked
"Can we talk?" She pleaded as Mike left the room with his phone and then said "what?"
"I never meant to be rude to you. Let's forget about history and plan a future. I really like you Mike" Laura sad
"I have a girlfriend" Mike said
"And so? You once liked me remember?" Laura said
"Laura, I have to go now" Mike said
"Meet me at Mcdonalds okay?" Laura said
"Whatever" Mike hung up the phone.
I went upstairs later on and opened my Macbook. I saw an email from my Uni. It was about my course and how it started next week but it was in Spain. Three months in Spain wow!.
I was happy but at the same time a little bit worried. Would Evan be fine? What if something bad happened in my absence? I was troubled. I did not know what to do so I decided to call Rene.
"Hey" Rene said
"Hi. Can we meet?" I asked. Something inside of me was telling me I had made a mistake but I just shoved the feeling aside.
"I am in Nottingham bro" Rene said
"I will come over tomorrow. Send your address" I said
"Sure" Rene said as she ended the call.
I laid down flat on my bed picturing my life. A widow. I then went to Evan's room.
"Hey beautiful" Evan said
"Let's just get married already" I said as Evan's eyes widened with shock.
"Why the haste?" Evan asked
"We have limited time Evan. You do! 19 months is what we have left." I said
"What came over you" You never talk about this matter with that tone" Evan said
"You don't get it, do you?" I said
" I don't to be honest" Evan frowned
"Three months. We have to get married within three months" I said
"What is up with you?" Evan said
"What is up with me? You have 19 months left and you don't want to marry me?" I shouted
"Leave my room" Evan said as I stormed out. I decided to text Rene
Hey what are you doing? I sent
What's good pookie? Am just chilling Rene said as something told me to stop texting her and apologize to Evan. I went to his room to see him on his bed crying. My heart melted. I ran and then hugged him.
"Am so sorry Evan. I should have not been like that. I don't know what came over me. I love you so much and will wait for you. I just want to be your wife and have your child before it's too late" I said
"I forgive you. When is your trip?" He asked me
"I think next month or there about" I said
"I already had a wedding planned. It was going to be a surprise. It was in the next three weeks" Evan said
"Oh! I am so sorry boo" I said
"It's okay love" Evan said as we hugged each other.
