It was a beautiful day. The birds chirping and the trees dancing. It was really refreshing. Mike woke up feeling blessed after he prayed. He went to the bus stop and then he went to the office. He then received a call from Hana.
"Hey Mike, how are you?" She said as she smiled
"Hey Hana am alright and you?" Mike asked her
"Am on my way to the office. So, I was wondering if you would be available for lunch today" Hana asked
"Umm...Am not sure because I am going back home immediately after the meeting sorry" Mike said
"Please Mike" Hana begged
"I have already booked my ticket" Mike said
"I will pay you for it and get you another one for tomorrow please" Hana begged again
"Nah that's too much am sorry" Mike said
"Fine when will you be back here again?" Hana asked Mike
"I don't really know am sorry" Mike said
"It's alright" Hana said as she ended the call. She was really sad. After five minutes of driving she arrived at the office and she saw Mike.
"Hey" Hana said
"Hello" Mike said as he stood up from where he was sat and shook her hands. She smiled and sat next to him. His phone then rang and it was me who called him but in the caller ID my number was saved as Kay bear then a heart emoji. Hana saw it and thought I was his girlfriend. She was really sad.
"Hello Kay bear" Mike said
"Hey Mike I just wanted to know when your coming back"
"Am coming back once am done with the meeting to stay with you" Mike said
"Okay" I said
"How is Evan" Mike said
"He's great" I said
"Okay bye bear love you" Mike said as he ended the call.
"That's the reason you don't want to stay over" Hana said
"What do you mean?" Mike asked
"Your girlfriend" Hana said
"Oh no...That's my sister" Mike said
"Stop Lying" Hana said
"Look am a strong Christian and lying is not my policy. Kaylee is my sister and her boyfriend is Evan" Mike said
"Am sorry" Hana said
"It's okay" Mike smiled
"So when will you be in Birmingham again?" Hana asked
"I have decided next two weeks. I will be staying for a week because I have things to do here so I will use the opportunity to spend time with you" Mike smiled
"Thank you so much" Hana said
"Well your welcome" Mike smiled
"Let's go in" Hana smiled as they walked into the conference room. Mike got a job there as a manager but can be working from home. After the conference Hana stops Mike
"Hey good trip" Hana said
"Thank you" Mike said as he left.
