Taehyung's POV

As usual, I was at the gym Monday evening, working on the lat pulldown machine, doing my usual set of exercises. After finishing the first set, I wiped the sweat from my forehead and glanced at myself in the mirror. That's when I noticed Jungkook walking toward me.

I turned around and saw the familiar, cheerful smile on his face.

Cute bunny smile

Jungkook raised an eyebrow when he saw me looking at him.

"Your smile sucks" I said, trying to keep a straight face. He gasped dramatically, clutching his chest as if I had wounded him deeply.

"You wound me, Taehyung!" he exclaimed.

I smirked, and he narrowed his eyes. "I have a whole fan base for my smile alone," he scoffed, and I couldn't help but grin.

It definitely doesn't suck. He was right. Even Maya noticed it.

What does she think of my smile, though?

I had never been conscious about my smile until yesterday. Maybe I should be. I think I should stop smiling, but I can't help it when I'm with her. Even if I tried to control it, it would still find its way to my lips.

"Weirdo, why are you smiling?" Jungkook asked, snapping me back to the present. I realized I had been smiling the entire time, lost in my thoughts.

"Nothing," I replied, a small shake of my head trying to dismiss whatever he might have seen in my expression. Jungkook's curiosity only seemed to deepen, his brow furrowing slightly.

"Weird. Anyway, I wanted to give you a heads up that I'll be crashing at your place tonight," he said, one eyebrow lifting in anticipation of my reaction.

"What's with everyone deciding to crash at my place all of a sudden?" I asked with a bemused expression, and he rolled his eyes in response.

"Since Jimin isn't around, I'll probably end up bored," he sighed.

He had already made up his mind regardless of whether I agreed or not.

"Alright," I agreed, and he smirked, giving my shoulder an exaggerated pat.

"Thanks," he added with a sarcastic tone before striding off to start his workout routine. I couldn't help but smile at his antics.

Tonight is going to be long night.

----------

We were in my living room, both glued to a movie that had Jungkook practically melting into the couch beside me with laughter.

As the clock ominously approached 11 PM, I could feel the weight of my impending early morning responsibilities creeping up on me. Despite my occasional glances at my phone, trying to calculate how many hours of sleep I could still snatch, Jungkook seemed determined to make me his movie-watching companion until the very end.

"How much longer is this movie?" I asked, turning to Jungkook and His response came in the form of a judgmental look, but he remained tight-lipped, leaving me in suspense.

I let out a sigh and started scrolling through my phone, hoping to distract myself from the movie that seemed never-ending. My fingers tapped on Maya's chat, noticing that the message I sent her an hour ago remained unread. Another sigh escaped me as I tapped on our picture that she sent me yesterday.

Her eyes, that smile... everything about her was beautiful. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of her. Running my fingers over her face in the photo, I wished I could relive those moments again, even if just for a little while longer.
