Chapter 9: Lots of goodies.

Jimmy didn't know Tango before he was paired with him for the art project. 

Well, he knew of Tango, of course he did! Genius guy in computer science, as well as an absolute artist in art class. The dude managed to pull building and redstone and manage to stay modest! He, of course, wouldn't deny his redstone skills, as he should, may Jimmy add, but he will go on about how he isn't an artist and how you shouldn't expect him to make anything pretty... 

And then he goes over to build better things than Jimmy!! 

Jimmy wasn't an artist. And this time, for real. Sure, he could make pretty things- But nowhere near Tango or Scott level of pretty things. 

Ah, Scott. 

Scott had been one of Jimmy's longest time friends. Well.. Ever since the start of highschool, last year, when he and his siblings settled in for good in this town. So a year long friend. But still his longest friend!

And that, really, wasn't an achievement. Everybody and their mothers was friends with Scott. Genuinely! The guy was even friends with Grian! Apparently having known each other in middle school or something, while Jimmy was alone in another middle school because it was 'nearer' his grouphome.

Scott had approached him and gave him a poppy.

Who is dead, now, because plants can't live forever. But still, Jimmy still has the pot he had her in and cherishes it. Scott had offered buying him a new one to put in the pot, and of course he said yes! But spring passed and she died in winter once more.

That wasn't the point.

Jimmy would call Scott his best friend. Not like his family had a good history with best friends, ha! No, but, seriously, that whole Grian and Scar drama was ridiculous. Jimmy was still very much good friends with Scar, and he didn't look like he hated his brother at all! So, this must be a good ol' joke, yeah? Jimmy's got it all figured out!

Again, not his point.

As stated before, Jimmy would call Scott his best friend. But that didn't really matter, did it? There were plenty other people who claimed Scott was their best friend. Like Owen, or Martyn. It really wasn't called rare to consider Scott as your best friend.

But that didn't change the fact that he did! So, at any excuse whatsoever, he was hanging out with him, cracking up jokes and giggling like children over stupid stuff.

Jimmy had been surprised hearing that Scott wasn't friends with Tango.

They knew of each other! Of course, or else Jimmy might've hit both of them for their ignorance about the other. Tango was extremely smart and Scott extremely friendly. Of course they would get along. 

And they did! Jimmy was right. Now Jimmy didn't even have to worry about pin pointing different times to hang out with either of them, he could just hang out with both of them! And Scott was just so nice. He'd give little ideas for their mesa-ranch landscape, without asking the same for his flower field he was making with Pearl.

And, oh gosh, the mesa-ranch and the flower field. Don't even get Jimmy started!

He'd known his sister Pearl was an artist, of course, but up until recently he hadn't had a reason to look at her work- She'd always been so closed off about it. Unlike Scott, who showed endless pictures and asked for advice for which material he should get.

And Scott seemed as amazed with Pearl as Jimmy and Tango were! He'd go on and off about rants about how careful she is with everything, how she made the little flowers with such patience and time, going as far as to spend 20 minutes on one, just gluing the petals together.
