Haiti and Dominican Republic had been around each other for most of the day, they had not felt each other's company for so long, and it felt nice for them to be together again

Unfortunately, Haiti's 'friends' didn't like that very much, but Dominican Republic didn't give a shit, his brother was all that matters

A few days had passed, and it was Sports Week for the countries, every country participated in atleast one sport, some countries used it to develop friendship and be closer to one another, some countries used it to one up another, some used it to impress their crushes, some used it to humble their rivals, and sportsmanship was very rare

The brothers were going to take part in football (⚽ this one), and the North American Nations were included in one team, unfortunately for the Dominican, that meant he'd have to play along with Haiti's 'friends', whom he didn't like

Time skip to match day

The atmosphere in the locker room was tense, there was an air of hostility between the Carribbeans, and Haiti could sense it, and so could the team captain America,it was hard not to see Domi getting glared at the whole time and he decided he had to do something

"Hey everyone, can I get your attention"

"I know we're all facing challenges right now, and that we don't see eye to eye, but when we step on that pitch, personal differences don't matter, what matters is what we're playing for, we're playing for the continent, and we'll show everyone what we can do"

"If there's a mistake, you encourage and comfort them and you keep going, if someone gets past you, you don't go "oh no", you turn around and you run back, even if you're getting the ball from your own net, we go again, let's go out there and get a result, come on"

Everyone in the room had to cheer at that, it was a massive morale booster, and it seemed everyone had put their differences aside, they were filled with energy and it seemed they were ready to put on a performance......
