"It's not often that we get to go on a mission together huh? Since we're Hashiras and all. Right, Mui-kun?" You were happy today. Because you two were paired up for the mission, the Master thought it would be a nice change for the Hashira to be able to sync and familiarise each other's attack styles. It could be an extremely useful skill to have when fighting powerful demons, such as Uppermoons.

Muichiro nods at you, just as he was about to respond, he jumped in front of you to block an attack from the demon. You were so happy that you let your guard down, you flushed a bit at your carelessness, wanting to hide inside a hole forever from sheer embarrassment.

"(Name), let's do it together." Muichiro calls out, to which you nodded in determination. The demon screeched annoyingly and used its Blood Demon Art.

"Blood Demon Art, Moonlight Clones!" In no time, the demon's body melted away into a puddle in the ground and several identical demons were standing right in front of you two, some of them were drooling and looking at you both in hunger.

"Mist breathing, second form; eight-layered mist."

"Star breathing, fourth form; misty stars!"

Muichiro performs eight slashes in quick succession as you spin around and let your arm swing your blade in a flowing pattern, slicing everything in its path. In just a few seconds, all of them were cut to slices and reduced into nothing but ashes. You marveled at your teamwork and hugged Muichiro, jumping excitedly.

"We did it!!"

"Yes, we did a good job." Muichiro nods in confirmation, patting your head as you excitedly bounce around in excitement.

"Of course he did a good job, what else do you expect from Muichiro! He's the best if all after all!" Ginko, Muichiro's crow cuts in, looking proud as ever as she gave you the stink eye. You just smiled at the crow, trying to resist the urge to just yank off its feathers and grill the damned bird as a meal.

'I just don't understand how a bird can be this annoying...' you stare down at the bird in exasperation, remembering how much it tried its hardest to trouble you. Sometimes you find it cute, wanting to cheer it on. However, at the same time, you want to stab it with your sword and throw it inside an oven. "You spoil it too much, Mui-kun." You pouted at the boy who stared at you in amusement, feeling bits of jealousy boiling inside you.

"How dare you stare at Miss (Name) with such disrespectful look! Go die, you insolent disgrace of a bird!" Ryu, your beloved crow cawed angrily at Ginko from your shoulder, to which Ginko screeched in anger and the two started fighting yet again.

"EXCUSE ME!?"

"You're excused."

"No! Go die in a ditch!"

"You too. I hope you fall off a cliff."

"Aren't you such a cutie!! Do you like it when I pat you? How about there?" You fondly coddled Ryu who was resting on your lap, the crow was greedily soaking it up, you giggled heartily at the satisfied expression on Ryu's face, finding it extremely adorable.

"Do you want another one?" You pick up a corn seed from a small pouch you had brought with you, handing it to Ryu who gobbled it up eagerly. You and Muichiro decided to go eat in a diner you came across after completing your mission, seeing as it was already time for dinner. As you were waiting for your orders, you felt a weight on your shoulders.

To say Muichiro was annoyed would be an understatement as he watched you coddle your idiotic crow from the other side of the table, he barely had time with you ever since you both joined the demon slayer corps. Every time he wanted to hang out with you, there was always something interrupting him, be it missions or people. When he was busy with a mission, you were free as a bird. And the same thing happened when the situation was reversed. When you were busy with a mission, he was available for a boring amount of time. It was frustrating to say at least.

He had so much to show you, the papers he folded, the food he cooked, hoping you would look at him with a smile, an expression on your face that he finds so lovely.

You chuckled lightly and gently pats his head as he buried his face into your neck.

Seeing you coddle your crow, he felt the jealousy you always feel when he spoil his crow rotten. He wanted to throw the stupid bird in the river nearby but rejected the idea in his mind. That would make you unhappy.

Then suddenly, you felt the door sliding open to reveal the blond-haired boy form before. "My beloved girl! KYAAAAA! YOU'RE SO CUTE THAT I COULD DIE! I heard your heartbeat and immediately recognised it was you!" He loudly exclaimed with a blush on his face, screeching and screaming, to which you stared at him with a grimace.

'What...?'

His face contorted into a blissful one and dash towards you, firmly grabbing both of your hands.

"Marry me, (Name)-chan! You are beautiful as the moon in the night sky and your smile sparkles like the stars! You're a celestial maiden!! I love you! Marry me PLEASE!!" He declared his love for you, his face full of hope and admiration. You stare at the boy with wide eyes, not sure on how to respond to the proposal. Suddenly, he was knocked several feet away from you. Muichiro harshly stepped on his body and glared down at the boy who started screaming hysterically, calling out to you for help.

"Hey...do you mind if I dispose of him?"
