Draco-

I looked at my portkey in the middle of my completely empty. I already sent my trunks to England. Now all I had to do was send myself to England. Was I really doing this? Was I really about to go back to England after 5 years and leave my whole life here? But it was to late, I've already accepted the head of Auror department, and it was too late to back out now.

The small portkey, which was a rusted old spoon, started glowing. I took a deep breath before rapping my hand around the spoon. I waited another minute before I felt something hook behind my bellybutton, the ground disappeared beneath my feet, I was swung in the air, my apartment that had been my home for the last 5 years disappeared. My black coffee and bagel were swishing around my stomach. I shut my eyes; I hated using a portkey.

I finally felt my feet land on solid ground, I took a deep breath before throwing the spoon on the ground. I took in a shuddered breath, before looking up at the house.

"UNCLE DRACO!" My 4-year-old nephew shouted, he ran towards me, his little legs carrying him at a surprisingly fast pace. I kneeled down, opening my arms. He ran into them, his little arms wrapping around my neck.

"Will," I laughed, I stood up with him still in my arms.

"William, let your uncle take a breath. He just got here." Michael said, walking up to him. I shook my head, as Will hid his head in my neck.

"No," He whispered to his dad.

"It's alright Michael."

"Come inside, Elizabeth made us some dinner." Michael led me inside his house. It was a small white house, with a dark purple roof, and shutters. It was a muggle house because Elizabeth, Michael's wife, wanted to be close to her parents and close to the palace where Michael worked, but inside had more of a wizard touch to it.

"I can't wait, I'm starving. Wait did my luggage arrive?" I asked, he nodded.

"Yeah, I set them up in your room." I was staying with them for a couple days until my apartment was ready. It was supposed to be ready today, but my landlord had to leave for Scottland to deal with the death in the family, so I had to wait to sign the lease till he got back next week.

"Thank you, I have some presents for you," I told Will, he grinned, his eyes shining with excitement. We walked in the house; the smell of roasted chicken and mash potatoes engulfed me. Elizabeth stood at the stove, she looked over her shoulder and smiled.

"Draco!" She walked over and hugged me, with Will still on my arm.

"I can't believe your finally moving back." Michael said, as Elizabeth let me go, she ushered me over to the kitchen table, she had set up a full table.

"Will are you going to let your uncle breath now?" Michael asked, as I sat down with him on my lap.

"I know, Will why don't you go grab my handbag? I have a secret present for you in there." I whispered, Will's eye lit up, before he hopped off my thigh and rushed out of the kitchen.

"I can't believe I you took that job. Captain of the Auror's already." Michael said, clapping a hand on my back.

"Well, the ex-lead auror, Evelyn, was my friend in America for two years before she left to take the head job. She got injured after a mission and she has to step down. They asked Potter but he didn't want the job, so she called me up and asked me. I don't know why I said yes," Elizabeth set down a glass of butterbeer in front of me.

"Because of your nephew or brother or sister maybe?" Elizabeth said, sitting down next to Michael.

"Well, that was a plus. I didn't even realize I said yes, I just said it. And when I said yes, Evelyn just said perfect, I'll see you soon and ended the call. " I muttered, as Will ran back into the kitchen a big brown box in his hand, he jumped back on my thigh, ripping opening the present.

"Wow!" Will gasped picking up the red car, I took the remote out of the box. He grabbed the car, staring at it in awe. He ran his little thumbs over the car's door, before they popped open. The car started flying, it flew out of Will's hand and around the kitchen.

"I fixed it up a little so it can fly and you can drive it around." I said, I took my thumb off the controller, the car landed smoothly on the table, driving right up to us.

"That is so cool!" Will shouted, hugging the red car to his chest.

"Will what do we say?" Beth asked, Will looked up at me grinning from ear to ear.

"Thank you, Uncle Draco."

"You're welcome." I said, Beth put a plate of chicken and rice in front of me. We dug into dinner with Will still on my lap, taking spoonful's of food from my plate.

"Are you ready?" Michael asked, I shook my head confused.

"Ready for what?"

"To see her again? To see Madeline?" I shrugged a shoulder.

"I don't know, but I can't avoid her for the rest of my life. I'm done living abroad, I want to come back home and see you guys and my friends-"

"And me!" Will shouted,

"Yes, and you. Especially you." I laughed; Will nodded.

"Good."

"Well, at least your back. I expect your friends to be here any minute." Michael said, checking his watch. We ate dinner for another hour before I decided I needed a shower and a fresh pair of clothes. I excused myself and went upstairs to shower. I changed into a black shirt, and grey sweatpants, I dried my hair with a towel before walking downstairs to the living room, where Blaise, Theo, and Daphne were, sitting on the couch, and fighting over the sweets Elizebeth brought out.

"Ah! There he is!" Blaise shouted, as I plopped down on the chair in front of them.

"So, you're really moving back here? We can actually see you every day instead of a couple times a year?" Daphne asked, sipping on her tea.

"Yeah I am. I know how much you guys missed me, so I had to take the job. You can stop crying into your pillows tonight." I smirked, as Beth handed me a cup of tea.

"I never shed a single tear for you when you left. I sure as hell wont cry happy tears now." Blaise said. The red car I bought Will bonked into his head.

"Ow," Blaise hissed, rubbing his head. I heard Will chuckling from the kitchen.

"That was the second time. I swear Will is doing this on purpose." Blaise muttered.

"Wait, Blaise. You did cry when Draco left. I remember. You cried on one shoulder and Mads-" Daphne stopped, clearing her throat, an awkward silence fell on us they act like Madeline is a taboo topic ever since she broke my heart into a million pieces and any pieces of news that talked about the 'happy couple,' stomped on whatever was left in my heart.

"I knew you cried Blaise. It's okay I'm here now." I said, the awkward silence broke, and we started laughing, poking fun of Blaise for missing me.

"Can I still make fun of you if you're now my boss?" Blaise asked, I shook my head.

"I'll give you desk duty for a month if you do."

"Abusing your power already Draco? What would Potter say?" Theo asked.

"Who knows, I'm his boss aren't I?" I winked.
