Madeline-

I was checked out by Michelle at Saint Mugos right after. My throat was normal, the fingernail marks and bruises were gone an hour after I took a disgusting cotton tasting blue potion. And checked on Juliette who was hit with a very strong stupefy curse and was going to state the night.

"Are you crazy? You want to go out tonight?" Daphne shouted at me as she sat on my bed. I took the rest of the day off, took a very long shower, and had a late lunch with my mother. Daphne had come to check on me, and now we were hanging out in my room.

"I want to go to a club."

"You just got attacked! By a very ugly man! How do you know that this man doesn't have more lacky-"

"Draco assured me that he believes I won't be attacked again by that man. He doesn't think it's related to the assassination attempt. He thinks that man was just an old prejudice prick." I said, Daphne still stared at me like I had gone insane.

"Daph, please. I haven't gone out and had fun since I've started this job. I feel like an 80-year-old man." Daphne chewed on her bottom lip nervously before huffing.

"Fine. Only because three Auror's are going to be with us." She muttered, I grinned and kissed her on the cheek.

"Thank you Daph. I love you." I giggled but she it didn't budge her glare.

I stared at myself in the mirror, I had given Meredith the night off but the only problem was that I had to get ready alone. I haven't gotten ready alone in years. I dug out a deep red single strap dress that reached a little less than mid-thigh, the dress was backless, except for the straps running along my back, and into a small bow in my lower back. My hair was in very lose waves; my makeup was done perfectly thanks to my wand.

There was a knock on the door, and I knew it was Draco. I didn't know why my heart started beating faster, as I opened the door. Draco opted out of his usual black shirt and trousers, instead he had on a pair of muggle trousers, a white shirt, and a black leather jacket. His eyes roamed over me, a flash of something dark was in his eyes before it disappeared just as quick.

"You look beautiful."

"Thank you," I whispered, feeling a blush crawl up my neck. I opened the door wider, letting him in. We had to be very careful not to be seen, so we decided that one-person apparting would be easier, less noise.

"So, we should get going, I think that the others are already there." Draco said, he took out his wand from the pocket of his leather jacket. He put his arm around my waist, his hand on my lower hip. There shouldn't be butterflies anymore, but there were, and they were fluttering around from my stomach to my heart. He flicked his wand, and we apparated out of my room, and in front of the bar in Diagon Alley. Draco dropped his hand from my waist, I cleared my throat and thanked him.

"They should be inside already," Draco said, he opened the bars door, it was a basic looking bar, with black walls, and silver shinning floors, the bartered stood in front of a wall lined with drinks, there was music already playing, and dozens of people dancing, drinking, and talking. Several people turned there heads as Draco and I pasted but we ignored them. We were used to the stares by know. Blaise, with Luna, Theo and Daphne, and a girl that looked a little like Daphne expect with deep black hair was with them sat at the back of the bar on a large table they had reserved.

"You guys took forever," Theo said, as we reached them.

"You try sneaking out of a castle." I huffed, sitting down next to Blaise. The only spot available was next to the girl who seemed delighted to have him sit down next to her.

"Guys, this is my cousin, Astoria Greengrass. She's visiting and I thought it would be fun to have her join us tonight." Daphne said, pointing at the girl. She was pretty, with long black hair, pale skin, full pink lips, and bright blue eyes that were glowing even in the dark light.

"Nice to meet you guys," she said in a lovely French accent, eyeing Draco over her drink.

"You too." The table said,

"Did you go to Hogwarts?" I asked, she shook her head.

"I went to Beauxbatons."

"Interesting."

"Luna, do you want to go dance?" Blaise asked her, she nodded happily. I stood up so they could get out of the booth. They walked hand in hand to the dance floor, before I sat back down, scooting in all the way next to Daphne. Astoria had taken that opportunity to start a conversation with Draco, she gave him a flirty smile, her eyes raking over his face, and not so discreetly his body.

"Why the hell did you bring her?" I whispered to Daphne not taking my eyes off of them.

"Because she's, my cousin?" Daphne said, raising two blond eyebrows at me.

"She's flirting with Draco, and it's so obvious," Daphne scoffed.

"Madeline you can't be jealous right now."

"Why not?"

"Because he's your ex-boyfriend, ex. So, if you aren't going to dump Alexander. You need to let Draco move on." She hissed,

"I have let him move on. I just don't like her." I hissed; Daphne shook her head.

"Yeah, you just don't like her, she's the problem." Daphne whispered, I nodded.

"She is." I shook my head, as I looked back at them. Draco was laughing at something she said, she tucked a hair behind her ear.

"Madeline?" Theo asked,

"Hm?"

"Is that your sister?" Theo asked, pointing towards someone on the dance floor. There was no way it was my sister; she wasn't even a witch. But there she was in my short black dress, dancing with someone whose back was turned towards us, his head low whispering something in her ear.

"What the hell!" I shouted, I jumped off my seat and stormed over to my sister. They both didn't notice that I had stormed over to them. I grabbed her arm, turning her around. Grace looked annoyed before she realized it was me.

"What the hell are you doing here!" I shouted,

"Madeline...you are not supposed to be here."

"I am not supposed to be here! I am a witch! You are a mug-"

"Sh! Not so loud." I looked over her shoulder and up at the man. He was tall, as tall as Draco, with big brown eyes, full lips, broad shoulders, ginger hair.

"Why the hell am I not surprised one of the Weasley twins is sneaking in a muggle!" I shouted, he extended a large hand to me, but one glare from me, and he backed down.

"George Weasley..." Grace shot him a glare.

"Okay fine Fred Weasley." I shook my head.

"Madeline, please. Listen to me, I can explain everything to you."

"First you need to go home. We can talk about this tomorrow morning. Understand?" I hissed,

"But Madeline! We've only been here for two hours-"

"Go home! Or I will send a guard to get you and trust me they are forced to tell Dad. Got it?" I said, I wasn't usually this mean to Grace, maybe I was pissed at Draco for flirting with Astoria, but also, she has obviously repeatedly sneaked out, and could have put herself in danger.

"Fine," She huffed, she grabbed Fred's hand. I watched them walk out of the bar, her only way home was Fred, and she could clearly get home by herself like she's done before.
