Madeline-
"My stupid editor is trying to kill me." Daphne huffed, she slammed her tray of food on the table, making my cup of raspberry juice shake. Draco grabbed my cup before it could topple over, his fingers brushed mine, by accident or on purpose I didn't know, but I did know that my hand was currently feeling the electricity crawl up my arm.
"Why?" Blaise asked, as I cleared my throat, then decided to shove a large forkful of my Cesear salad into my mouth.
"She's making me throw out my article, it's about these two quidditch players, Ronny Albright, and Maddie Grey have started a relationship."
"What's the big deal about that?" I asked, Blaise and Theo gasped.
"There only the biggest rivals in the history of quidditch! One time, Maddie grabbed him by the arm and threw him off his broom when they were fifty feet in the air! Another time, he jinks her broom so that every time she'd fly her broom it would make this horrible smell. She jinks him so hard he ended up a week in the hospital." Theo explained, he looked almost animated as he talked about quidditch. His eyes lit up; he used two pieces of fry mimicking how Maddie threw Ronny off his broom. His fry landed in his bowl of soup, making him scowl.
"So why did you throw out your article then?" I asked,
"Because Maddie paid him ten grand not to publish it yet. I have to think of something new." She signed into her burger,
"So, Draco and I are going to shooting practice today. We're going to leave work early." I said,
"Shooting practice? Like guns?" Theo asked, Draco nodded.
"Can we come?" Blaise asked pointing to the three of them. Draco narrowed his eyes at Blaise, crossing his large arms over his chest.
"Are you trying to skip out of training?"
"I would never." Blaise gasped; Daphne shook her head.
"Do not count me in on this. I'm getting a manicure; I'm not using a gun that might chip off my fresh nail polish." She wiggled her fingers at me, making me laugh.
"Plus, you two can't come anyway. I'm scared you might shoot each other or something." I said,
"No no, I swear we'll be so chill. I just want to shoot a gun."
"Me too!" Theo pipped in; Draco looked over at me. Theo and Blaise looked so excited I couldn't bring myself to crush their excitement. I signed and nodded.
"I don't mind."
"Okay, fine you two can come." Draco said, the two jumped in there seats, high fiving each other.
"Guys, watch this." Blaise said, he picked up a fry, took his wand out and pointed it at the fry. It flew out of his fingers, and straight into Potter's hair. Weasley pointed at Potter's hair, I could hear Potter huff even from here before he turned around and glared at Blaise, shaking the fry out of his hair.
"Blaise! This isn't Hogwarts! For god's sake stop throwing food into my hair!"
"Maybe get a haircut Potter so your hair doesn't look like a net!" Theo threw his head back laughing as Potter glared at our table. They did this every single lunch hour, tomorrow Potter was probably going to give Blaise or Theo an exploding pudding or drop a cup of coffee on their laps. Ever since they graduated the Blaise and Theo, and Potter and Weasley had an Auror off. It was there way of bounding, apparently.

We walked into military's shooting range, it was closed off for us today, usually the army would use it to train soldiers, I couldn't count the number of times I spent in here, shooting at the targets whenever I was angry, stressed, or annoyed, and over the last five years, I was in here a lot. The place had several rows of targets, with the outline of a man at the end of the range. There were clear barriers between each row, so we could see each other. Draco was given a gun by the palace, and I had rented two for Theo and Blaise some guns to use for today.
"Are you three ready?" Michael asked, after the three of us explained to the three of them basic handgun safety.
"Yes," Draco grunted, we put our safety glasses and headphone glasses on. Michael and I weren't shooting just yet, we just wanted to watch. Blaise shot first, his landed on the outside of the outline, it was an inch from the poster human's arm. Blaise turned around, I nodded encouragingly.
"Close," Blaise shrugged one shoulder. Theo shot next, his landed right above the outlines head. I gave him two thumbs up, Theo shook his head, looking disappointed.
"Draco your turn!" Michael shouted, Draco lined up his gun and shot. His was better than Theo's and Blaise's, it landed at the bottom of the outline, exactly where the man's hip would be.
"That was good. Michael go help Blaise and Theo, I'll help Draco." I said, Michael nodded he walked towards Blaise and Theo.
"What was I doing wrong? I was aiming for the head."
"Head? Are you sure that's what you were aiming for?" I chuckled, Draco pursed his lips, staring at the gun his eyebrows in a determined line, his mouth pursed, looking so confused it was almost cu- I shook that thought out of my head.
"Well first, you were aiming a little low, and your legs need to be a little more spread out." I said, I used my foot, and kicked his leg, forcing him to spread them out a little more.
"And you're holding the gun wrong." I grab the gun from my gun holster and showed him how to hold it correctly.
"Once you know how to do the basics, it'll come easy to you." I smirked, looking up at him. The booth we were in was small, his arm was pressing into mine, I tried to ignore that feeling that came whenever I touched him, and shot my gun, without even looking at the target, but I already knew that I had shot it in the head. Draco's gaze darkened, his jaw tightened, his hand flexed something close to desire flashed in his eyes, it disappeared just as quick.
"How long did it take you before you knew how to do that?" He asked, I set the gun down, his gaze was burning a whole into my cheek.
"Years. You'll get there eventually." I smiled at me.
"Here, let me show you how to properly hold the gun." I said, I grabbed his hand, his jaw tightened again, before I raised his hand, at the perfect level to shoot right at his head. I kicked his leg again, getting him in the correct position, fixed his fingers, and had him shoot. The bullet hit his head perfectly.
"Perfect, we can try more-"
"NO! DON'T AIM IT AT EACH OTHER! THESE ARE GUNS! THEY WILL HURT!" We heard Michael shout,
"These two are going to be the death of me one day."
