I finished my shift, slept for a few hours, and got ready for Lando's barbecue.Save to say, I wasn't looking forward to that at all. I actually wanted to lie and pretend I was sick.
But Sav was so excited, I couldn't do that to her.
"I am so excited!" Sav clapped her hands as we were walking to his apartment. I couldn't believe he actually gave her his address.
Didn't expect that if I was honest.
"I bet you are" I mumbled.
"How do I look?" She asked, twirled around quickly. "You're looking absolutely amazing" I said.
She was wearing a short black dress, curled her hair, put on way too much makeup.
But she was looking beautiful."We're here" she said as she walked to a huge apartment building. She pressed the button of his apartment.
I didn't want to ask her how she knew which button to press, without even having to look at it.
"Yeah?" Someone said over the intercom. "It's Sav and Francesca"
"Come on up" the door buzzed open.
She knew exactly where to go, she's definitely been here before.
"I am glad you could make it" Lando greeted us. He was once again wearing a cap, not backwards this time, a normal shirt and jeans.
"We are all sitting outside" he said, pointing at the balcony. "I will be there in a second"
"Hurry up" Sav smiled at him while I was already walking outside.
I sat down on his balcony, I had to admit that he had a nice place, didn't expect anything else though.
Sav sat down next to me, she was looking around, probably thinking the same thing.
My eyes met Lando's, he was leaning against his outside table, pointing at some drinks.
I quickly shook my head. I definitely wasn't in the mood to drink, didn't want to get drunk before I would start my shift again.
He frowned, tilted his head a little and pointed at the Red Bull.
I shrugged and nodded my head.
He laughed, grabbed a can of Red Bull, put his cap on backwards this time and walked up to me. "Red Bull for Frankie" he gave me the Red Bull with a smile on his face.
"Francesca" I corrected him.
"I like Frankie better" he winked at me before turning his attention to Sav. "Do you want something to drink?"
"What do you have to offer?" She asked as she looked up at him.
"A lot" he smirked, held his hand out for her and pulled her up. "Let me show you"
She giggled as she got up and followed him to the table with the drinks.
Only a second later, he had his hand on her cheek and his tongue in her mouth.
"God" I mumbled as I shook my head.
"That's not the kind of reaction he usually gets" one of his friends sat down next to me. I couldn't remember his name but I definitely remembered him from that night.
"Or did he break your heart as well?" He asked, looked at me and that's when he seemed to remember me. "Wait, you're the bartender"
"Francesca" I nodded. I didn't expect him to remember my name because to be fair, I couldn't remember his name either.
"Right" he nodded. "Max, I'm his best friend"
"And I'm her best friend" I nodded at Sav who was still kissing Lando.
"And you're okay with him kissing her after he kissed you?"
Yes because I only did it for a bet, to have some days off.
But I didn't like it because he was gonna break her heart. She was falling for him, I could see it in her eyes.
And he was playing with her, I could also see that in his eyes.
Right after he kissed her, he looked at me, a smile on his face.
This guy was such a fuckboy and he was playing with her right in front of my eyes.
Unbelievable.
