I walked back to Francesca's room after our little swim, we talked for a little while before I went back to my room as well.

I wanted to go to the paddock together today, but she didn't want that.

I realized it had nothing to do with me, it wasn't that she didn't want to spend time with me, she just didn't want people to take pictures of her and I walking in together.

She was scared of what Jordan might do if he saw those pictures.

So I didn't push her, didn't ask her about it again. Just went to the paddock separately.

She was sitting on a table, eating, alone.

She used to be so outgoing, so extrovert and he changed that it only a couple of weeks.

I grabbed my food, walked up to her and sat down with her.
She looked around as I did, making sure no one was taking pictures.

"Don't worry, they won't take pictures in here" I said quietly.
My team respected my private space and no journalists were allowed in here.

"I am sorry, it's just-" she mumbled.

"I understand" I smiled. "What are you eating?"

"I tried this wrap, they said it was your favorite" she pointed at her plate and smiled.

It actually made me smile that she wanted to try something that I liked.

"Do you like it?" I asked, I was eating that same exact wrap myself. It was a light lunch, something that I needed before a qualifying or race, especially here in Singapore.

"It's very good yeah" she nodded and smiled. "You've a great taste"

"Oh, I know" I winked at her.

She chuckled, looked down and put some hair behind her ear. "So, is there anyone you are talking to?"

"A girl you mean?"

She nodded. She wanted to know if I was talking to someone else. If I moved on already.

"No" I said honestly. It wasn't easy to move on from her. Didn't really want to move on either.

"That's so unlike you" she laughed a little.

Little did she know that it wasn't really unlike me.

She saw me at my worst, kissing random girls and partying way too hard.
But that wasn't how I usually was.

I was usually very concentrated on my job, even kinda shy around girls.
Definitely if I actually liked them.

Those girls at the club, I didn't like them at all. They meant nothing.

Francesca on the other hand, she meant everything.

I fell for her so damn quickly, but I fancied her way before she even knew me.

Still couldn't believe that she made a move on me. That she kissed me first.

"So Lando, be honest now" she said as she leaned closer and narrowed her eyes. "Did you have sex with Savannah?"

I chuckled a little, thought she was joking about that, but she kept looking at me, she wasn't making a joke, she actually wanted to know.

"No" I said. Already told her that but it once again showed that she didn't trust me at all.

It showed how much she was doubting everything I said.

She kept looking at me, raised her eyebrow a little.

"I swear I didn't have sex with her, I only kissed her to make you jealous"

"Knew it" she smiled, leaned back in her chair again. "Little advice, if you like a girl, don't kiss her best friend"

"Got it" I nodded. This time it was me who leaned closer. "Still got you though"

She laughed at that, because she knew I was right. I had her, but I wish I still had her.

I would treat her like a princess. Exactly like she deserved to be treated.

Not like Jordan treated her though and hopefully she would realize that soon enough.
