Lando's POV

"Just call her mate" Max Fewtrell said as he looked at me.

I went to Ibiza for a while, to get drunk, to forget about Frankie, but it didn't really work. It didn't work at all.

"Oh yeah great idea mate" I rolled my eyes. "I haven't tried that yet"

I've been calling her nonstop since that fucking kiss. A kiss that I didn't even want.

That girl basically pressed her lips against mine and I pushed her away immediately.

And even though it was only a second or two, someone took a picture of it.

As if it was planned.

"Then just leave her, she was just a bet anyways" Max waved it away, as if it was nothing.

But she wasn't just a bet, she never was. She was never part of it.

I made a bet with Chase when we were both drunk and when I probably kissed a few girls, I honestly couldn't even remember.

I didn't even remember that bet until Jess mentioned it.
It was that long ago.

I always fancied Frankie, that's why I always went to that club, to see her.
We flirted once, danced a little but she didn't seem interested back then.

I actually always thought that she was dating Jordan, asked him a few times about it and he never denied it.

So I stopped flirting with her because I didn't want to come between them.

Until that night. The night I will never forget.

She wore a beautiful black dress, her hair was straightened, her makeup done and she looked stunning, beautiful, the hottest girl in the club.

She was dancing, biting her lip and looking at me. I couldn't even believe that.
Couldn't believe that she wanted me to go to her.

But that's what I did. Wanted to get out of the club, go take a walk or whatever, but she didn't want that.

She just wanted me to kiss her and who was I to deny that? I literally wanted to kiss her for months.

That kiss was magical, just like our first date.

But she had such high walls around her heart, probably only for me because everyone was telling her how much of a red flag I was.

Even my best friend.

Couldn't believe he would say something like that in front of her.

Why did no one believe that I was actually serious about her?

I wanted to prove myself to her, but it was difficult. Took her to a few races, bought her flight tickets, let her meet my friends.

That was the night we had sex, I will also never forget that because it was amazing. She was even more beautiful than I imagined.

And I fell in love.

"Let's go out?" He suggested. "No, I don't wanna see her" I mumbled.

"You do wanna see her though" he said, and he was right. I wanted to see her, but not in a club, not while she was probably flirting with Jordan.

I wanted to see her next to me, in my arms, on top of me.

"Get dressed" he said as he nudged me. "And don't wear your hat this time"

"I called her, I texted her, it will look like stalking if I show up in the club she works at"

"Yeah? And what?" Max shrugged. "You like the girl, so you fight for her"

I sighed, grabbed my phone, wanted to text her to ask if she was working tonight, but I quickly decided against it.

Jess (Bartender Monaco)
