An hour later, I walked in the club with both Max's. Verstappen came too, said he would keep Jordan busy if he was there.Jessica did as she said she would, she looked at me, whispered something to Frankie and walked away from the bar.
She walked up to me, let her shoulder brush against mine. "Don't mess this up" she mumbled.
Can't mess it up even more than I already did.
My heart was pounding, I was so nervous to talk to her.
She was managing the bar alone, but it wasn't that busy, so it didn't take her long to notice me.
She looked around and realized that she couldn't run away.
She sighed as she looked at me. "What do you want to drink?"
"Vodka Red Bull please" I said as I tapped the bar. I was nervous, didn't really know how to explain everything to her.
She was working, so I had to be fast.
"Francesca, I just wanna explain things to you" I said as she put the glass in front of me.
"What is there to explain? You made a bet, you won the bet and you kissed another girl right after"
"No" I shook my head. "You were never a bet, I forgot about it until Jess mentioned it"
"Of course" she sighed. "Can you pay please?"
"Yes" I said as I grabbed my card. "When do you finish your shift?"
"None of your business anymore" she said as she turned to someone else.
I looked behind me, Jordan was talking to Max. He did as he promised me, keep him busy.
But unfortunately I don't think it mattered very much. She didn't want to talk to me.
So if she didn't want to talk to me, she could at least listen, she had no where to go anyways.
"Just so you know Francesca, I like you very much, you were never a bet, I was serious about you, I still am"
She moved her head a little, she was still pretending as if she wasn't listening but I knew she was.
"I know you don't trust me, to be fair you never did and I can't blame you because I was a red flag before I met you. I made stupid bets that I can't even remember because I was so drunk. That's how I was before I met you"
She sighed, turned to me. "Why should I trust you?"
"Because it's different with you"
"You kissed 100 girls in this club" she shook her head.
"And you're the last one I want to kiss" I immediately said.
She sighed again. "I am off at 4"
And my heart made a little jump because that meant she wanted to give me a chance to explain.
"Okay, I'll wait" I smiled.
And that's exactly what I did. I waited for hours, switched to something non alcoholic to drink and made sure no girls were around me during the entire night.
At one minute before 4am I was standing in front of the bar again. Jess and Jordan both looked confused at me but I swear I could see a little smile on Jess' face when Francesca walked to me.
I had to come up with something to do, didn't want to take her back to my place.
But what was there to do at 4am? I wasn't used to this, I would normally just take girls home and there wasn't much talking involved.
But like I said, Frankie was different. Way out of my league.
