Finished my shift at 5am and for once I didn't stay any longer.
Lando and his friends also left, they never stayed until the latest.

So I went home and slept until noon. Wish I slept longer because I was absolutely exhausted.

Haven't heard from Sav though, so I expected that she was still sleeping.

Didn't put too much effort in my outfit or makeup. This wasn't a real date anyways. Not for him and definitely not for me.

I actually felt kinda bad, I was going on a date with him because I wanted him to leave Sav alone.

Which maybe wasn't what a good friend did, maybe I just had to let her be heartbroken.
She would be either way, but way less if he cut it off early.

He obviously wasn't serious about her, this date definitely proved that.

This was just how he treated girls. He kissed them, played around a little and went on to the next.

I went to the club at 6pm, maybe a little later.

There was no one there yet, except Lando who was standing in front of it.

And he was dressed pretty nice, wasn't wearing a cap for once. He wasn't dressed as an absolute fuckboy for once.

"Hi, I am sorry that I am a little late but traffic was a bitch" I said as I walked up to him. "You came by foot though?" He laughed.

"People walk so slow, you have no idea" I rolled my eyes which made him chuckle.

He put his arm around my waist, kissed my cheek and looked at me. "You look absolutely beautiful"

"Uh, thanks" I mumbled.

"So since you didn't take your car, are you okay to be my passenger princess?" He nodded at his car, a beautiful dark blue Mclaren.

"Where are we going?"

I expected that he would just want to go to a bar, get drunk and fuck.
Wasn't this the kind of dates he did?

"Somewhere away from Monaco, to have a little privacy" he said as he walked to his car and I followed him.

He opened the car door, tilted his head a little as he looked at me.

"Uh-yeah okay" I got in his car, looked around. I felt so uncomfortable. I never drove an expensive car like this, while being on a date with a formula one driver.

It was something to be nervous about.

Even if that driver was Lando.

"So how was the rest of the night yesterday? Busy?" He asked as he drove away.

One hand on the steering wheel, the other rested between us.

"Yes, it was a busy night, don't know why" I shrugged, looked outside.

Where was he taking us? Thought this would be a quick date.

"You're there, so everyone probably comes to see you"

"So that's the reason why you come to the club as well?" I chuckled. "Because I am there?"

"Oh definitely" he smirked.

"Right, that's why you kiss every woman in there, to make me jealous, right?"

He chuckled, rolled his eyes and looked back at the road.

Exactly what I thought.

He took us to a beautiful beach, with no one around. I got out of the car, looked around and back at him.

"Is this where you take all your dates to?" I chuckled.

"Not really" he shrugged, grabbed a bottle out of his car and two glasses. "Let's go sit?"

"Sure"

I was so thankful for these random chairs who were in the middle of the beach because I absolutely hated sand.

It got everywhere, in your shoes, hair, clothes.

We both sat down, he gave one glass to me. "You want some?" He pointed at the bottle.

Would be pretty funny if I said no, but that bottle of champagne in his hand looked pretty expensive.

"Yeah definitely" I said as I held my glass out.

He poured some champagne in, poured some in his glass as well and put the bottle down again.

"So-uh- you like your job?" He asked.

Everyone always expected me to say no when they asked that question, but I actually did like my job.

"Yes I do" I smiled. "Do you?"

A question he probably never got before. "Yes I also do" he laughed.

"Then we are pretty lucky" I said as I took a sip from my glass.

Like I said, this was some damn good champagne.

"Don't you have to go to races and stuff?" I asked, not that I wanted him gone, I was just genuinely interested.

"It's summer break"

Oh right, made sense.

"But don't worry, I'll go on vacation soon" he chuckled.

"Good, can't stand to see you every night" I laughed and so did he.

To be honest, it was a pretty fun evening. He didn't try to kiss me once, we just talked about our lives and his races.

I bet he was a pretty fun person to be friends with.

And I totally forgot to ask him if he would leave Sav alone from now on.

This was definitely not how I thought tonight would be like. Quite the opposite even.
