Someone leaned forward and Ominis could tell by his peripheral that her breasts were hanging out now, "I'm much more fun in bed than your wife."

Annoyance prickled and he looked at her blandly. "Beyond the realm of possibility. The Trojans and the Greeks would have ditched Helen of Troy to fight Wars over my wife."

That left not only the woman's mouth agape with incredulity, but also Lucan. Once they'd reached Hobhouse's room, he let out a low, quiet whistle. "You are so in love with her, aren't you?"

"Very much so." Ominis said without an ounce of hesitation, "Can we move on now?"

Lucan was stunned into silence, but opened the door while their escort left to go back downstairs. Ominis walked in first, turning on the light switch since there weren't any windows in the room.

What he saw turned his blood into ice.

What he saw turned his fears palpable as the tension in the room grew.

Eden rose, her head turning as she took in the room. Her body coiled tighter around his shoulders; anxiety capturing Eden like it captured him to.

Her photo was everywhere.

One of her looking out the window with a pensive expression.

One of her shopping with Tobbs, throwing her head back as she laughed.

One of her in Diagon Alley carrying an umbrella.

One of her in A'morte, walking towards him while holding drinks.

Hobhouse had been stalking her. Ominis turned around and headed back down the stairs without another word.

One of the workers stepped in front of him, offering him a timid look, and a broken umbrella. "S-Sir," She stammered, uncomfortable by the look in his eyes. He must have looked ready to storm the gates of Heaven or unleash an army of demons upon the Earth. He felt ready to strangle any creature that got between him and leaving right now. "You might need this. It's bloody pissing down."

He opened the door, immediately noting that it was raining. But it was too cold...

No... It was hailing. The sky was crying frozen tears.

The Prophecy was coming true.

"NO!"

Stella ignored the dangers as she barely caught Tobbs' body and she crashed to the floor. A pained noise escaped her, but she was more focused on the dying House Elf in her arms.

Tobbs offered her a weak smile. His body was shaking like it was cold. "T-The Miss shouldn't hurt herself," Tears welled up in his eyes, "Master will b-be upset."

Her own tears were already flowing down her cheeks, "I-I'll get a wiggenweld or-" She was stammering, knowing that her magic didn't work on house elves like that, "Feenky or Deek-"

"It's too late for m-me." Tobbs patted her cheek kindly, "But Miss needs to get away."

Stella's gaze drifted up to their attacker. Duncan Hobhouse stood just before the threshold, gazing down at them with a dark look in his eyes. He wasn't wearing his Auror uniform, but a shoddy suit. The hems were wet from the pants legs being too long.
