"Hi there, you guys. I have the book and the boat is ready. We should wait a moment longer until the pirates have fully left. In a sec I'll bring up your stuff and see how the situation is going. Once the coast is clear I'll bring you up one at a time."

Todoroki POV:
Katsuki went first. He had the opinion that waiting up there alone was probably quite dangerous and he didn't have the feeling either of us could handle it and we didn't care enough to discuss this with him. We waited about 20 min before Nereid emerged from the water pool again. After that it was Izukus turn. "Remember not to swim too fast." I said as a reminder of what had happened last time. "Yeah, yeah. I'll be more careful." she said. "See you in a bit." Izu said with a worried shake in his voice. "Don't worry. You'll be fine. Plus, as soon as you are above the water again Katsuki will be there with you." He nodded. Then he closed off his nose with his right hand, took a deep breath and closed his eyes tightly. I waved goodbye while they slowly disappeared first into the water and then through the hole connecting the caves water pool with the open ocean. Now I had to wait for another 20 min. I hoped it wouldn't cause any problems that the others had to wait such a long time in the middle of the open sea. While sitting there waiting I realised that Katsuki had mentioned Nereid meeting with Fin. I should ask her how it went once she is back.

Soon enough Nereid returned. Before we left the cave I asked her about Fin but all she said was "You'll see." with a bright smile. I got into the water pool and she held me tightly to her body with one of her arms. It was something between a hug and a throw over shoulder thing. The way back to the surface felt way too long. We took about 6 or maybe 7 minutes to swim back up and I was barely able to hold my breath for 3. Once half way there we stoped for a moment and she connected our mouths by forming a tube with her hand. Then she blew air through it and I was good for another minute or two. Once my head broke through the surface I directly took a deep breath and coughed up some water I swallowed when Nereid did the whole air tube thing with her hand. Kats and Izu pulled me out of the water and into the boat. I took a moment to catch my breath before sitting up and taking a look around. We were in a sailers boat. It was small but looked very promising and the big sail meant we wouldn't have to tire ourselves out right at the beginning of our new journey. With what Nereid had said before I wasn't too surprised to see a second boat right next to us with Fin inside. I was happy but more so relived to see him safe. Even with a couple bruises and scratches. He gave me a smile and said "You didn't think you could get rid of me this easily without even saying goodbye did you?" "Don't worry I'll get him back to safe land once he has seen you off." Nereid said. Apparently their talk went well then, huh?

"We should go now." Kats said. "Right." I answered. "Well then" Fin started. "this means goodbye. Even though you are an annoying brat I sure will miss how lively you've made my house." He looked at Katsuki with eyes full of tears. "YOU-!" Katsuki stoped himself from exploding over his insult knowing it was meant to be a compliment. "Whatever, old man." Fin laughed. "Goodbye Fin, Elara. Thank you so much for everything!" Izu jumped to his feet to bow wich resulted in the boat starting to shake. "Hey-! Nerd, be careful!" Kats shouted. "Big thanks and a wishful goodbye from me as well. Please, stay safe and I wish you well!" I added after Izuku had managed to sit back down without flipping us over. Both Fin and Ner- Elara waved until we couldn't see them anymore.

"Goodbye to you too Silverbrook, little cabin, Highland Meadows. May we never see each other again." Izu mumbled as the last few treetops disappeared behind the horizon. "Goodbye." "Goodbye." And with that our adventure here ended and a new one was about to begin. One that was a lot different from anything we had experienced so far.

The small waves clashed against the sides of our sailing boat, making it shake. The sky was a bright blue. Barely a cloud. Katsuki had leaned back and took a nap. Izuku was still browsing through the diary Nereid had gotten back for us. I just sat there, admiring the never ending ocean left and right. The sun reflected on the surface of the water gave it a beautiful glitter. Just as I had lost myself in thoughts of what might lay ahead I saw something appear right behind the horizon. I squinted my eyes as much as I could in hopes of figuring out what it could be but it was too far away. "Hey Izu?" "Hm?" "Can you see what that over there is?" I pointed towards the weird shadow. Izuku put the book down and sat up in order to take a good look. He leaned forward and squinted his eyes the way I just did, as if it would actually do something. "I don't know. It looks like something big." "You think it could be an island?" "Maybe. That would be quite convenient. We've only been out here for a couple hours and I was worried that we would have to last out here for days before we find land." "Let's wake up Katsuki and ask him whether he thinks we should head for it then." "Right."

"Hmmmm. I don't know. Could be land." "What else could it be Kacchan?" "How should I know? By the way when was I declared the decision maker?" "Well, since it won't go any other way than yours anyway..." I answered. "Tsk. Damn, right." he mumbled. "So? Will we head for it?" "Yeah, let's at least check it out. We don't have much of a choice either way." Kats said and we changed corse.
