We entered the huge cruise through a big door. And the inside was definitely even more breathtaking than what we had seen from the outside. And with that I mean both interior architecture as well as the residents, staying at this abnormal place.
Bakugo POV:
I didn't know what to say. All of this seemed too surreal to believe. And at the end of the day that's basically what it was: not real. And even so the only way we could survive was to act as if all of this was. That fact kind of screwed with my brain, as we walked through the entrance. It gave off a very old-fashioned, rich atmosphere. In the incredibly large foyer, huge pillars, ornate golden accents and marble floors leapt out at us. Creatures, each looking different than the others walked around as if all of this was normal. Some had horns others scales. Some colourful skin others looked like they escaped out of a black and white movie. Not a single one looked like a human, some even had wings and tails. I even spotted one without skin. All Organes and Bones exposed for every one to see.Directly at the entrance on the left was a reception. An elderly woman with golden curls, bright blue eyes and a bright red dress stood behind the large marble table. Half of her face was all distorted and looked as if she was created to teach children a lesson like: "Don't try to cut your hair by yourself or she will jump out and eat it until your bald."
To the right of the entrance was a golden bar. The back wall was full of crystal glasses and expensive-looking alcohol. There were stools where you could sit right in front of the bartender. His skin was light red and he wore a white, nice looking shirt and trousers with straps. In addition to his wild white curls, he also had large goat-like horns on his head.
The rest of the room was mainly some expensive decorations like sculptures or uncomfortable looking armchairs. In the centre of the high room, a gigantic glass chandelier rose from the ceiling. It reached from the very top to the bottom and allowed visitors to just about walk underneath it.
At the very back were large stairs also made of marble with a gleaming gold banister. The staircase was covered with a red carpet all the way to the top. In the centre, the path split to the left and right and led to the gallery from which you could look into the foyer. Each side of the gallery had five elevator doors."Are you ready to check in?" Bull dude asked and led the way to the reception. "Margrit here will be helping you." He pointed towards the person behind the counter. As soon as I lost sight of Bull dude, he disappeared within milliseconds. I looked around. "Would all of you want separate rooms?" The woman had a crazy high pitched voice and as she smiled at us her giant mouth was exposed. She had big sharp teeth and made me believe my earlier mentioned "kids story" might even be true. "N-No, we'll take one for the three of us." I couldn't stop staring at the horrific view in front of us. It disgusted me. "Alright then, here you go!" She shoved a small, weird looking box into my hands. "As soon as you'll open it, it will lead you to your room. If you go up the stairs you will find the elevators. I recommend holding tight once you enter." She gave us another creepy smile. "Have a pleasant stay. Hopefully I'll see you again!" I gave her one last look before grabbing Dekus hand and heading towards the staircase.
Once we arrived at the elevators, which were just as fancy as the rest, I carefully opened the little box I had been handed over. It was a dark wooden box with a simple, golden closure. The inside had a dark red fabric and a big golden compass like mechanic. It had several layers of gears, screws and thin plates with small glass windows between them. On each level there was a small arrow offset from the others. A golden metal plate with small engraved letters was screwed into the lid above the fabric panelling:
"Follow the bottom arrow. As soon as it moves constantly in a circle, take the next staircase (there is always only one up or down). As soon as the glass window closes, follow the second arrow. When all the windows have closed, your room number appears. When you reach the door, place the box in the opening under the door handle. The door opens automatically. Now go to the middle (sixth) floor. Good luck and hold tight after entering the elevators!"
"Alright then. Let's go." I pressed the elevator button and immediately one of the five doors opened. We entered. It had three mirror walls a black sealing and a marble flooring. The door was golden as well as the buttons. Weirdly enough only three existed: -1, 0 and 6. I pressed six and once the elevator doors closed we understood the hard way why we had been warned to hold on tight twice already because the elevator didn't only move in an uncanny fast speed it also went into at least four if not more different directions. Left, right, up, down even diagonally. While being thrown around in this small box I realised that It didn't even have anything to hold on to. I quickly grabbed both IcyHot and Deku in hopes that if we were close together we could figure out how to at least not break any bones. Once it finally stoped the black sealing was now the floor and the marble floor now the sealing. No clue how and when that happened. As soon as the doors opened we stormed out terrified of having to go through that again.
Out of breath and dizzy as fuck all of us tried to catch our breaths. Deku fell to the ground and IcyHot leaned against the wall. I looked around. We were in a narrow corridor. The floor was covered in a black rug and the wallpaper had a cream color with golden patterns. The light was dimmed and had a yellow shine to it. Connected to this hallway were multiple others connected to even more and it soon became clear why this was called a labyrinth. I opened the little, wooden box again. The bottom arrow pointed right. "You guys ready?" I looked over to them. IcyHot looked back at me as if he was about to hurl while Deku was still on the ground not even able to sit up. I had to pull myself together in order not to laugh at my two pathetic boyfriends.
