*about two weeks ago in the real world*
"Then study hard! All three of them already missed a little bit more then two months of school. Let's work hard and help them get back into school as soon as they wake back up." Momo suggested. Denki, Iida and Tokoyami behind her agreed with nodding heads. "Right...! Ill work hard too!"
*Present: 4pm in the dorms of class 1A*
Kirishima POV:
Books were spread all over the floor. All you could hear was pens scribbling over the paper and pages being flipped. All of class 1A was sitting on the sofas and floor starring into their textbooks. On the coffee table in the middle of us were three notebooks. One said "Izuku Midoriya" one "Shoto Todoroki" and the last one "Katsuki Bakugo". We had decided that it would be helpful to make three notebooks that had all the important topics of this year as well as exercises well explained. As soon as those three would wake up we could give them those books and help them get through the year.
"Hmmpf" I looked up. Denki was frowning. The way he was starring at his textbook made it obvious that he struggled figuring it out himself. Maybe what I had told him the day at the hospital would come true after all and Katsuki will be helping Denki instead of Denki helping Katsuki. I had to giggle at the imagination of that. Denki gave me an angry look. He knew exactly what I was thinking about."Alright" Momo said "let's all make a break" everyone was waiting for her to say that and jumped to their feet, sprinting to the bathroom or getting a snack from the kitchen. Denki and I were left behind. He was still staring holes into his textbook. "Hey bud, let's make a break too okay?" I asked but he was too focused to reply. I reached with my leg over to him and nudged him. He looked up again. This time annoyed. "Don't overwork yourself. How about a snack?" I asked. All of a sudden he slammed his book on the table, stood up and left the dormitory. He's been like this for the last couple of days now. I was starting to really worry. It was admirable how hard he tried but I didn't want him to overdo it.
I stood up and followed after him. I needed some fresh air anyways. It didn't take me long to find Denki. He was sitting on a bench a bit further away from our dorm building. I sat next to him. For a while we were silent. "Sorry" he said suddenly. "Don't worry about it" I answered and we went silent again. "We could do those study sections again... maybe we can ask Iida if he could replace Katsuki for the time being. I'm sure he's a good tutor as well..." I suggested but Denki kept silent. "And if you feel weird to replace Katsuki ... I can try my best to help you instead.... Can't promise to be of much use though..." "I'd like that more" he finally said. "Ok! We'll figure it out" I was kind of relieved. We continued talking for a little bit but as soon as it started raining we went back.
Both Denki and I were drenched when we stepped back inside. The rest of the class had already started to study again. After showering and changing Denki and I took our books and went into Katsuki's room. "It's pretty dusty" Denki said. "Yeah, maybe we should start to take care of their rooms so when they wake up it will feel just like home again." I answered. "What if they don't" his question caught me of guard."We don't know if they wake back up and even if maybe we will be done with school by then or they will go to a different school. Even if they wake up who said we'll ever see them again." I was stunned as I looked at his sad face. "Don't worry. They will wake back up. That's why we make the notebooks for them right? ... And even if it takes a couple of years we will definitely see them again. C'mon Denki, Katsuki is our best friend there is no way we won't meet him again" I tried to cheer him up. "But he nearly died before" his eyes started to fill up with tears. "He isn't the kind to die of something as stupid as this!" I grabbed his shoulders and turned him so that we would be face to face. "Look at me Denki! If Katsuki were here he would probable beat you up because you thought even for a second he wouldn't make it out!" My voice started shaking now too. "And about the other two" A large lump formed in my throat. "Katsuki will ensure that they get back here as well!" I let go of him. "Are you really that confident about it?" The truth is I'm not. "Yes..." I answered. We both looked at the floor below us. And once again we were silent. "Alright then" Denki said. "Let's get to work. We won't be able to concentrate today anymore anyway let's start cleaning their rooms." He was right we wouldn't be able to concentrate on school anymore.
It was 7pm when we had finished vacuuming the floor, whipped down all surfaces and stripped the beddings. The others called us for diner so we left it at that and decided to finish another day.
Both Denki and I where in a better mood now. And when we told the others about the idea with the rooms everyone came up with even more ideas to make them feel as welcome and comfortable as possible once they would return. After eating we all fell exhausted into bed.The next morning I got up really early so that I could visit Katsuki, Midoriya and Todoroki in the hospital before school started. It scared me how they looked even sicker since the last time I visited.
"Hey, there guys..." I tried to seem as positive as possible. "Sorry for not visiting that often lately. We are all quit busy... You know whith school and training..." I took out the withered flowers from the vases on each of their bedside tables and exchanged them with fresh ones. Then I walked over to the chair in the middle of the room and started telling them what has been going on lately. Mr. Aizawa said a while back that they probable don't hear me but I tell them every time I come here anyway.I just want to make sure they won't feel lonely...
