Author's Note: there are only a couple of chapters left before I technically end this series. But I plan to start writing some alternate / bonus chapters for this series that I've been thinking about so this book still won't be completed for a while! Hope you enjoy 🩷

"Good morning, darling!" Taylor grinned as she watched you walk downstairs. "How are my babies feeling this morning?"

"Good." You said as she came over to you, lovingly kissing your lips. "And ready to go out for breakfast with your parents!"

Taylor bit her lip nervously as she brushed her hand across your bump.

"What?"

"I'm just a little on edge and wondering if we should go out for breakfast with them. The baby is due any day now and if people see us and can't control themselves, I'm afraid something might happen."

"Tay, everything's going to be just fine."

She nodded and kissed you once more before agreeing.

"Okay. I'm sure you're right. I'm just anxious, like I said. The baby's coming so soon and I just can't worry about every little thing."

"Me too." You said as you put your arms around her. "But I want to enjoy breakfast with your parents for what I'm sure is going to be the last time before our daughter is here."

"Good point." She smiled and kissed your bump softly. "Okay, let's get going."

You both got ready to go before heading out the door and to the restaurant where Andrea and Scott planned to meet you and Taylor for a nice breakfast.

Along the way, at every stop sign or red light, Taylor would reach over to caress your bump and you just smiled brightly over the feeling.

You got lost in thought about how excited you were about the baby coming soon and felt your heart skip a beat just thinking about the moment Taylor would hold her daughter in her arms for the very first time.

"Everything okay? You seem a little quiet." Taylor said.

"Just thinking about the baby." You replied and she grinned.

"I do that every minute of every day. I can't wait for her to come!"

You were about to say something when you felt a cramp in your stomach.

"Ouch."

The second the word left your lips, Taylor pulled over and looked at you with big blue eyes.

"Ouch? What do you mean ouch? Is the baby coming?"

You saw a glimpse of hope in her blue eyes and a smile so wide on her face as she excitedly waited for your answer.

At first, you weren't totally sure.

You were just about to tell her that too but then, the cramp returned.

It felt like the cramps you get during your period, which is something you haven't felt for a long time now but heard other pregnant people say you might experience when labor begins.

So you looked at her and said the words that Taylor has been so excited to hear you say.

"Tay, I think it's time."

Her eyes sparkled and she smiled from ear to ear as the words left your lips.

"We should get you to the hospital!" She excitedly said as she went to pull the car back on the road.

But you stopped her before she could.

"Baby, don't you think we should call your parents? They'll probably freak out if we don't show up on time."

"Oh, right! Good idea."

She stayed parked and reached for her phone to call her mom, who picked up on the first ring.

"Hello, darling! Are you running a little late?"

"Actually, mom, I think we're going to have to reschedule." She said. "For the three of us, instead of just Y/N and I. Because the baby's coming!"

"The baby's coming? Are you serious!?" Andrea gasped.

You reached for Taylor's free hand as you let out a little gasp over the cramps that were coming back and more intense, as well as your fluffy maternity sweats dampening slightly.

"Yeah, I'm certain of it now." Taylor grinned. "We're having a baby!"

She gripped your hand with her shaky one, the excitement so strong that she just couldn't hold it back.

You both laughed as the pain passed and Andrea let out an excited shriek before you heard Scott tell her to get ready to go.

"We'll meet you there at the hospital. We can't wait to meet our granddaughter!" Scott said before Taylor ended the call.

She looked at you and kissed your hand softly.

"Tay?"

"Yeah, my love?"

"Let's go have a baby."

"Let's go." She grinned and put the car in drive again before getting back on the road to drive to the hospital.

So, finally, you two could meet your baby.

You just couldn't wait.
