Bridgette's POV-part 4

Courtney came back drowned in the rain.

I brought her a blanket.

Courtney:"thank Bri."

Liam:"any luck?"

Courtney:"none at all."

Geoff:"we can go down to the police department and come back with some snacks."

Izzy:"I wanna go!"

Eva:"I'll go too."

Bridgette:"me too!"

Alejandro:"same."

Heather:"me too!"

Geoff:"ok but some of y'all stay back incase something else happens."

Noah:"got it!"

Harold:"alright!"

Geoff starts driving.

Liam's POV

Me, Harold,Noah, Mia, Charolette,Tyler,Lindsay, and Gwen all stayed back.

Tyler grabbed a baseball bat.

Tyler:"we have to defend ourselves!"

Lindsay:"you'll defend me too right?"

Tyler:"duh!"

Lindsay:"alright!"

Gwen:"pay attention! We have to be safe!"

Mia:"yea listen to goth girl for once!"

Charolette:"will you please all shut up!"
I look back at her.

Liam:"what's wrong Charolette?"

Charolette:"nothing just leave me alone!"

Charolette ran off.

Charolette's POV

I've had alot of trouble focusing lately.

I really don't know what's wrong with me.

Every job I've ever had, I've messed it up.

Even my own parents don't believe me.

Why can't I prove I'm not what they think I am?

Why do I make too many mistakes?

Why?

Why can't I be good enough for them?

Heathers POV

Me and Courtney were on our phones.

Courtney taps me on the shoulder.

Courtney starts whispering.

Courtney:"look at this photo of Duncan."

She shows me a photo of him with his hair in pigtails.

I laugh with her.

I go to my camera roll and pull up a picture of Alejandro.

I start whispering.

Heather:"hey court! Look at this!"

I show her a photo of Alejandro covered in flour.

We laugh really hard.

Everyone in the car looks at us like we are crazy.

Alejandro:"mi amor? What are you two even laughing about?"

Heather and Courtney:"NOTHING."

We try to stop laughing and we started bursting out again.

Alejandro:"please tell me!!" He begs.

Heather:"trust me you don't wanna know."

Me and Courtney burst out laughing again.

Not everyone is bad I guess.

Courtney's POV

We finally make it down to the police department and find Duncan's cell.

Duncan looks at me and smirks.

Duncan:"hey princess!"

I give him a really snappy look.

Courtney:"don't expect me to be happy with you when I pay your bail fine." I said.

Duncan:"it wasn't me!"

I look at him and laugh.

Courtney:"I know I'm just picking at you!" I said laughing.

He gives me a really annoyed face.

Duncan:"can I go home with you now?"

Courtney:"yes let me just go pay your bail really quick ok?"

I go to pay his bail and we finally leave.

Tyler's POV

Liam ran to go check on Charolette and the rest of us stayed until we saw Geoff van pull up.

Duncan came back!

Duncan:"hey everyone!"

Izzy's POV

Me and Eva were the last ones to get out the car and heard a plastic bag.

Izzy:"did you hear that?"

Eva looks at me annoyed.

Eva:"hear what?"

Izzy:"a plastic bag?"

Eva looks at me really annoyed.

Eva:"izzy, it's probably another one of them
nightmares you've been having, just calm down ok?"

Eva carried me back like a baby.

I feel safe with her.

But I still wondered...

What was moving in Geoff's trunk?

Who stole everyone's stuff?

I was curious and I really wanted to find out.

So I went back outside to check Geoff's trunk...
