"Most people hate hospitals. But not the interns. For them, a hospital is a magical place. It's poetic, the rhythm of the machines, the crackle on the trauma gown, it's a place full of promise, excitement, surprises. It's a place where dreams can come true. There don't have to be harps playing, or birds singing, or rose petals falling from the sky. And there are definitely days when the romance is dead... but if you look around, things are pretty amazing. So stop for a second, enjoy the beauty, feel the magic, drink it in because it won't last forever. The romance will fade, things will happen, people will change, love will die but maybe not today"

"and as the surface breaks, reflections fade"

Meredith, Cristina and Lucy were watching the interns get dressed. "Just look at them. They're so...", Lucy said. "Fresh and shiny". "Laughing, talking. It's pathetic", Cristina added. "They're pathetic". "I can't believe we used to be them," Meredith commented.

"Come with me"

They went around the other side of the lockers. "Are they still out there?" Jo asked them. "Rounds in five, freaks", Cristina said.

Aurora and Beck sat in the car together, staring at the hospital. "Are you sure you don't want me to go in with you?" Aurora asked her.

"No, I just need a ride home, okay? Please"

"Okay. Page me when you're done"

"Yeah, I will"

"I love you"

"I love you, too"

Two men rushed into the ER. "Help. We need a doctor. Help", the older man said. "I think we killed Bigfoot", the other man said. "Bigfoot?" Richard questioned.

"Yeah"

Meredith, Richard, Lucy, Bailey and Heather followed them out to the ambulance bay to a pickup truck. "I was just having a go at some whitetails, and I heard this scream", the older man explained. "You shot someone?" Heather said.

"I didn't see him. I swear. It just happened so fast, and then I saw this thing coming at me, like... Like a monster"

"Did you shoot him again?" Lucy said.

"I may have fired a warning shot"

"And I was just headed into town and it jumped into the road", the other man said. "I tried to swerve, but..."

"Wait. You shot Bigfoot?" Bailey said. "And then you ran him over?" Meredith added. "Yes", the older man said. "Well, where's Bigfoot now exactly?" Richard said. Suddenly, a figure covered in leaves and grass in the back of the pickup shot up and screamed.

In a trauma room, the doctors were cutting off the patient's camouflage suit. "Guy's crazy, wearing this thing", the older man said. "It's like he wanted to get shot". "Brooks, get over here and help with the cutting", Meredith ordered. As soon as Heather started cutting, he groaned.

"Did you cut him?"

She shook her head.

"Don't cut my ghillie suit", the man said. "His what?" Richard asked.

"It's army issue. Best damn camouflage there is"

"Yeah, for war. Not hunting deer", the older man argued. "We wear orange coats for a reason". "Oh, I got it. I got it", Lucy said. "You know, I myself prefer hobbies like stamp collection or crochet...", Bailey said. "Something that doesn't involve guns and... Helpless little creatures". Before she could finish her rant, they noticed marks on his stomach.

"Brooks, escort the gentlemen outside"

"Okay", Heather said, showing them out just as Jackson entered the room. "This way". "Hi, Dr Shepherd, I just told Dr Torres but I thought I'd let you know that we just heard back about the cadaver nerves, but the longest they have is seven centimetres", Jackson informed Lucy. "Shit. It needs to be longer than that", she replied.
