Things happened in the blink of an eye as if following a premeditated script. Nearly all of the Fatui's forces were occupied in Oina Beach against the join forces of Watatsumi and the Shogunate's army.

There was not enough men to fend off the ambush teams led towards Mt. Kanna, and they welcomed themselves in.

Crash!

The barricades and the defenses of the main base were destroyed as Beidou swung her claymore. She directed a hand in front of her, a firm look on her face.

"Alright, you rascals! You know what to do! Turn this place upside down and take down anything and anyone that tries to stop you!" she yelled a command.

"Yes, Captain Beidou!"

Kujou Sara did not take long to join them with her own set of soldiers. She made no violent reaction to the Crux Fleet's mercenaries proceeding without them, but she gazed at the base.

She thought something was suspicious. Was the base truly that empty?

"Spread out! Leave no stone unturned!" Sara commanded the uniformed soldiers strictly.

"Yes, General!" they chorused and swooped in.

The Fatui's main base was ransacked and destroyed within ten minutes due to little to no resistance. It was almost an easy task, and it made the two experienced women suspicious.

"It's quiet. Too quiet," Beidou squinted her eye. She tossed a few planks over with her foot. Sara looked around observantly.

"They concentrated all of their forces into helping Soleil in the north," Sara stated. "And leave the base unattended? That doesn't sound like them," Beidou said doubtfully.

But then again, who said it was unattended?

Sara paused, her face stoic as she listened to her instincts. She turned to the last tent in the distance–it was one of the larger tents that had not been touched yet.

Her eyes narrowed and she nocked an arrow on her bow. Someone's in there.

An entertained laugh escaped Childe's lips as he watched busy shadows dance on the tent's cloth walls. He was sat comfortably in his tent while chaos ensued outside, legs crossed and an elbow on the armrest.

It was difficult to believe that he was calmly restraining himself when he would have launched a one-man slaughter any other day. But alas, you can't have it all.

His smile widened when the tent entrance flapped, two familiar women walking in with weapons at the ready. Their subordinates spilled behind them, blocking the exit entirely.

"Well, well. That took you long enough. You must've had so much fun at the beach that you kept me waiting," Childe said amusingly.

"You were expecting us," Sara frowned. "Sure did. Tell me, did you find anything interesting while you were making yourselves comfortable here?" Childe rested his chin on his palm.

"We're not here to play any games. You're the only one in this base. Surrender yourself and pay for your crimes before Her Excellency, the Raiden Shogun!" Sara stated.

The Harbinger's eyes narrowed. "Hmph. Look at all those smug faces. Do you truly think you're any match against me simply because you outnumber me?" Childe spoke condescendingly.

"I could kill every single one of you before you can even blink," his smirked darkly before shrugging, "But then again, a certain someone would never forgive me so...consider yourselves lucky."

"Hands up where I can see them," Sara glared. "Heh. I'm unarmed, as you can see," Childe replied.

The soldiers tensed when Childe stood up and stretched. Sara's fingers gripped the nocked arrow firmly, at the ready.
