Jungkook's pov

I stood in front of an old warehouse, its dilapidated facade blending with the darkening sky. I rechecked the Google map to confirm the location. This was the place. Black smoke billowed from the chimney, adding to the eerie atmosphere. Taking a deep breath, I tiptoed inside, my heart pounding in my chest.

I moved cautiously, ducking behind a row of old, rusted barrels. "Just sneak in, get your girl, and escape. No violence," I whispered to myself, trying to steady my nerves. The brick walls were shabby and covered in grime.

Ahead, I spotted a bright light. Curiosity piqued, I approached and found myself standing before a room with pristine white marble floors. Empty tables were scattered around, sterile and menacing. This had to be the laboratory Namjoon had mentioned. Could they really be keeping Y/n here?

I hid behind a pillar, peering out cautiously. A man in a white lab coat passed by, carrying a notebook. He walked through a door at the far end of the room. I could hear faint voices coming from inside, indicating the presence of more than one person. The door wasn't transparent, but shadows moved behind the translucent glass.

I was about to leave, convinced Y/n was not in that room, when a faint voice reached my ears."Stop lying and let me go!" My ears perked up. It was faint, but I recognized Y/n's voice instantly.I crept closer to the door, kneeling down to hear more clearly. Her cries were heart-wrenching, filled with pain and fear. What are they doing to her? The thought made my blood boil. I couldn't bear to hear her suffer. I had to act.

I stood up, ready to storm in and rescue her, but before I could take a step, something hard struck the back of my head. Pain exploded in my skull, and everything turned blurry. My ears rang violently as I clutched my head, stumbling forward. The world around me spun, darkness closing in. I tried to fight it, but my legs gave out, and I collapsed to the floor. The last thing I heard was the sound of Y/n's anguished cries before unconsciousness claimed me.

I groaned in pain, clutching my head as I sat up. It took me a moment to adjust to the brightness of the white room. There were no windows, only a stark steel door. I noticed someone sitting in the corner, their presence barely registering at first. Probably a prisoner like me? "Hey?" I called out to get her attention.

She sat there in white robes, her head buried between her knees, arms wrapped tightly around her legs, trying to make herself as small as possible. "HEY! I am talking to you, miss," I repeated, my voice louder this time.

Slowly, she lifted her head. My breath caught in my throat, and my eyes filled with tears. I was overwhelmed with both joy at finding her and sorrow at her condition. "Y/n...?" To my surprise, she didn't react. She just sat there like a lifeless doll, her eyes vacant and void of any recognition. She only stared blankly in my direction, unseeing.

I crawled over to her and hugged her tightly. Her body was cold to the touch, causing a spike of panic. I quickly checked her pulse and sighed in relief when I found it steady. "Everything will be fine now. I am here with you," I whispered, my voice trembling.

"....."

I tried to warm her up, holding her close. The moment I felt her in my arms, my soul seemed to return to my body. My world came to life again. "I am really sorry," I sobbed, tears streaming down my face. "I shouldn't have shouted at you that night. You were trying to tell me something, and I was too wrapped up in my own anger. *sniffles* I'm the reason for your condition. I am so sorry, love. I swear I will kill that bastard! How dare he!" My tears of guilt turned into tears of rage.
