Arjun walked inside Abhi's room to drag the boys for dinner. Roohi was annoyed. She had called the boys several times and but they did not comply. He overlooked a lot of things but when it came to meals he was firm. Skipping meals had never been allowed in Rajwanshi Mansion. He did not want the boys breaking tradition.
He was surprised to see the boys sitting together and working on something. He had the impression that Abhi and Andy did not like each other very much. Given Andy's positiveness about their family it was a given. The sudden change baffled him.
"Nahi ho raha Big-b (I am not able to solve this Big-b" Abhi whined shaking his head in confusion.
"Abey tu try kaha kar raha hai? (Where are you trying?) You are expecting me to give you the answer. It will not happen. Come on try"
"No, i tried. I am not as smart as you, give me the answer"
"A fifth grader with a retarded brain can solve this. You are being stubborn. Look properly you will get the answer"
"Kya hai yaar? (what is it with you?) I tried for 20 minutes...."
"120 seconds. That is how much time you gave to the code."
"You are being mean Big-b"
"You are being lazy. Come on you can do it. Its very simple. At least try. If you cant do it. I will help, but I wont give you the answer. You need to work for it"
Abhi glared at the message,
"Young Owls use all resources efficiently, diving under many boulders."
He tried everything but he could not work it out. His big-b had too many tricks under his sleeve. He could not even dream of decoding the message. Though Andy claimed it was simple, he found it impossible to decode.
"Don't glare Abhi, use your brain" Andy mocked.
"Chup raho aap. (Be quiet) Let me focus. hand me the water. I am thirsty."
Andy sighed and reached for the glass of water that was placed right next to Abhi's bed. All the boy had to do was reach for it and yet he chose not to. Abhi realized that the best way to stop Andy from over doing anything was to push his button and he knew how to do that with expertise. Andy was running very thin on patience. Abhi was sure that he would very soon march out in anger. something he was desperate to happen. Though he loved the company, he did not want his big-b breathing down his neck every waking second. He needed space to breathe.
The moment Andy's attention shifted on pouring the water Abhi took a quick picture of the message and send it to his bhaiya. His bhaiya would know the answer. He was sure.
"Help me decode. I cannot lose face with big-b." He typed in quickly and hit send just as Andy turned to him with the glass of water.
Arjun's phone buzzed in his hand. He was glad the phone was in silent mode. He did not want the boys seeing him so soon. He wanted to see if Andy would catch on, his boy was too smart not to. He pocketed his buzzing phone and focused on the boys.
