Andy chased Abhi to the car and caught with him in the last minute. The boy was not ready to talk. Andy could feel his irritation.
"What?" Abhi hissed at him.
"I got you here, dude. You are my responsibility." Andy hissed back, "You can't run away like a whining toddler without telling me"
"I am not a whining toddler, and neither did I run away. I told you that I was leaving"
"Well you cannot leave" Andy insisted stubbornly. Abhi never failed to annoy him. "You need to go back home with me"
"Shawn bhai will drop me home"
"Well Shawn bhai did not get you here. I promised Roohi di I will get you back home safe, So I will do it. Stop your tantrums and get on the bike"
"I won't. and why do you care Big-b? Go hang out with your friends...."
"They were your friends Abhi. I was only being polite"
"Polite? You were cozying up to them"
"Relax man I am not interested in your girl. Mia is not my type she is all yours. You don't have to act like a jealous lover."
"I am not jealous" Abhi condemned furiously, even when he realized that he was actually jealous but not for the reason Andy was stating. Abhi realized with a start that he did not like Andy being friendly with Manny. He did not want his Big-b to give anyone else the attention that he craved. That was a dangerous territory. He had never felt possessive of anyone before. He had to accept the fact that his bhaiya belonged to the country. With his Bhaiyu he had always had to share the attention with Andy. He always knew Andy would come first with Arjun and he was cool with it, it was only with Andy that he felt the unreasonable possessiveness. The guy did not even want him around. He knew it was plain madness but could not help it. The only option he had to play it cool. which he was trying to do.
"You are bro. It is written all over you. Chill. That girl is not my type"
"I am not interested in Malia." Abhi stressed each word.
"Sure and pigs fly! I believe you bro. Chal ghar chaltey hai. (Lets go home)" Andy gave him a wicked smile and handed him the helmet. Abhi wanted to argue thought better and reached for the helmet. Leo hopped onto the seat and made himself comfortable. Andy waited for Abhi to hold on to him, but the boy sat there stubborn. Andy rolled his eyes and kick started the bike. He increased speed on purpose, forcing Abhi to hold on to him for dear life or risk falling. Abhi understood what Andy was doing and gritted his teeth. It was that mean steak in Andy that he admired so much and hated himself for doing so. He wished Andy was polite and silent the he would have no problem keeping his distance, but his Big-b was way too cool. He did not know how to keep him at a distance. He was mulling on ways to keep Andy from effecting him so much when a sooty came front of them out of no where.
