Once they returned to the hotel, Abhi went straight to his room, making it more than clear that he was not in mood for company. Ash and Roohi caught on the tiff between the brothers. Roohi addressed it head on.
"Did you two fight?" She cornered Andy before he could disappear into his room.
"Why will I fight with the brat?" Andy pulled his arm back annoyed. Ash who was there with them whacked him hard on the back.
"What did you say to annoy him?"
"Why do you assume it is me, di?" Andy asked as he glared at her.
"Because you talk too much" Ash shot back, "You must have said something to upset him. What did you say?"
"Nothing!" Andy ran his fingers though his hair, frustrated. The ladies refused to believe.
"Okay fine! I yelled at him, and the moron is sulking. What is the big deal?"
"Why did you have to yell at the kid?" Roohi's eyes narrowed.
"Can you tone down mama bear, your cub can fight his own battles"
"He is a child, Andy. How can you....."
Ash held Roohi's hand and silenced her. She understood her protectiveness for Abhi but it was normal for siblings to fight. Andy would never raise his voice at outsiders. If he yelled at the boy it meant he considered him as his own. She did not wish to jeopardize the budding relationship.
"Go and make up to Andy. Its okay to fight but it is not okay to stop talking" Ash explained gently, "Go and apologize. Abhi is too sweet to hold a grudge"
