Dear Readers,

There is one more part before epilogue. I had to take a break in this chapter because of my health. These days I am not able to work as much as I used to do. Please bear with me. The chapter was 140000 words long. I have now split it into three equal parts. I will post daily updates until we wind up guide, as promised.

The next part will be posted tomorrow if the feedback comes in by 8 PM IST (Tuesday).

Have a great week.

Abhi gazed at the girl, he always knew that there was something troubling her. He could not help feel sad. The girl deserved much better. Andy waited for two minutes, hoping Jia would react, but she continued with meal. Andy wanted to shake her up, but he was bound by orders. The Phoenix had made it more than clear that they had to wait and watch. Jia was the key to Lucifer, they could not jeopardize it.

Andy looked at Karan, hoping he would come up with a magical solution, but his jiju sat there in silence. He wished one day he could master the skill of patience, he was acutely aware of his own failings. All he wanted to do was shake the girl and demand answers. He did not know how the others managed to hold on.

"Ria?" Arjun said, breaking the silence. Ria was still engrossed in her meal. Roohi nudged her gently, forcing her to look up. Ria looked up startled, for a moment fear flashed in her eyes but then she smiled.

"Yes, Mrs. Rajwanshi?"

"Arjun was asking if you liked the food." Roohi forced a smile. The haunted look in the girls eyes was a slap to her face. Once again she had mis profiled someone. She was a trained agent, her failings weighed her down.

Ria nodded her head and looked down immediately. She was counting her time. The faster she ate the faster she could leave. All the eyes on her made her uneasy. She knew they were good people and that added to her agitation.

"Ria" Ashok placed a gentle hand on  her shoulder, making her stiffen. Ria looked up, struggling with the smile.

"Are you okay beta? You look a little worried"
