Dear Readers,

There is one more part before epilogue. I had to take a break in this chapter because of my health. These days I am not able to work as much as I used to do. Please bear with me. The chapter was 140000 words long. I have now split it into three equal parts. I will post daily updates until we wind up guide, as promised.

The next part will be posted tomorrow if the feedback comes in by 8 PM IST (Wednesday).

Have a great week.

Abhi texted Karan the first chance he got. He was agitated. He needed to know something. Even when he was overwhelmed with what happened he could not overlook the fact that  every officer he met that day was on Team Phoenix. His Bhaiya's team. He did not know if they were aware about his bhaiya's identity, but he needed to know if his bhaiya was close by. Weather his bhaiya was out there looking for Lucifer.

Andy stuck to his side like glue. It was impossible to get rid of him. Abhi was comfortable in his presence, but he could not control his restlessness. Until he knew for sure he could not stay in peace. Abhi looked at the door, hoping Karan would come looking for him. Unlike his bhaiya, Karan needed no excuse to step inside.

"Thoda sa khale, Abhi. Kuch nahi kaya tune. (Eat something, Abhi. You hardly touched your meal." Andy coaxed gently. Abhi shook his head. He did not believe he could stomach anything. Andy tore a morsel and offered it to Abhi, the boy shook his head but Andy was persistent.

"Khayega nahi to bohot daat padege. Tughe bhi aur mughe bhi. (If you don't eat we will both get into trouble.) Do you want to upset bhaiyu more?"

Abhi sighed and opened his mouth. Andy fed him the morsel in relief. The boy looked too pale for his liking. After what Abhi had confessed during lunch, Andy could not help but admire him more. In his field he got to deal with a lot of victims, survivors were rare to find. The boy was a gem and needed to be cherished.

"You don't have to worry about, Jia. Bhaiyu will make sure she is safe. I will make sure she is safe. The Phoenix was created to protect lives, not destroy them."
