It was night, and I still couldn't sleep.

I remembered someone had called Axel, sparking my curiosity about the caller.

I quietly rose from bed to find Axel's phone, gently observing him sleeping peacefully.

I remembered the password he had shared with me our wedding day date.

However, to my surprise, the password did not unlock the phone.

Puzzled, I tried entering it again, but it still didn't work.

Had he changed it?

As I continued to put random numbers in his password, it didn't work, so I decided to sleep. I put his phone back and went back to his side.

As I lay down and whispered to him.

"I hope this feeling of mine was not true," I closed my eyes and slept.

Drifting off to sleep, I later awoke to find myself alone. Searching for Axel, I discovered him in the kitchen, cooking.

He saw me and smiled.

"Good morning, hun."

"Good morning," I replied, walking towards him.

"What are you cooking?"

"Your favorite pasta," he replied, knowing my preferences well.

"And hun, maybe I won't be going home tonight. I have a lot of paperwork at the office," he added.

He mentioned staying at the office due to paperwork, and I simply nodded in understanding.

A few hours passed, and I woke up, it was about 2 pm now.

I had these weird food cravings.

I wanted to eat halo-halo without toppings.

I wanted to eat mango colored blue with cheese.

I was so moody all the time.

All I knew was I was laughing a while ago, and then I'd cry later on.

I was getting mad all the time over small things.

Natalie and Xian were at the house, and we shared a moment of understanding and food cravings.

Xian raised an eyebrow at our unconventional halo-halo choices, leading to a playful exchange before we settled down to watch a movie.

"What?" I glared at him.

"It's so weird," he said.

"Shut up, you're the weirder one who eats halo-halo with toppings," Natalie said while both of us glared at Xian.

He sighed and surrendered.

"Okay, okay, chill."

Still hungry, Natalie and I convinced Xian to order pizza before heading to the beach, a familiar spot for us.

The calming sound of waves greeted us as we sat down, indulging in our snacks. Xian, amused by our appetites, asked if we were still hungry, to which we nodded.

The sound of waves made me feel better.

We sat down and watched the waves while Natalie and I continued eating, and Xian looked at us again.

"Both of you still hungry?" he asked.

We just nodded.

As we chatted about life's ups and downs, Natalie and I found solace in sharing our struggles, shedding tears while Xian listened attentively. Our bond deepened as we confided in each other.

Little did we know, we had silently suffered a lot.

Natalie and I cried over what we said while Xian listened to our rants.

A guy approached, and to our surprise, it was Sage.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Hi Sage," I smiled.

"Ehem," I looked at Natalie, who fake coughed, while Xian looked at Sage.

"Oh yeah, this is Natalie and Xian, and Natalie, Xian, this is Sage."

Natalie smiled, and Xian shook hands with him.

"Who is he? He's handsome," Natalie whispered to both of us.

"He's the guy who helped me with the groceries I told you," I replied.

To our surprise, Sage appeared at the beach, joining our group. Introductions were made, and Natalie couldn't help but comment on Sage's charm.

"Can I sit beside you?" Sage asked me.

"Sure."

Hours passed as we spent time chatting about each other's lives.
