[A/N: Let me just say THANK YOU FOR 10K READS. I hope you all enjoy the story.]

The light of the sun was soon eclipsed by the darkness, and only the sparkling blanket of night was visible. Yet as the orange-yellow torches and lamps of the city streets illuminated, the people of the city wore smiles on their faces as they cheerfully bantered with one another.

"To think there would be a festival here?" A man said as he wondered the streets. The aroma of wisteria wafted through the air as he began to take note of its frequency.

'The town was surrounded by wisteria. The streets! People's door handles! The people!' The man thought as his eyes darted around confusedly, his long hair swishing as he turned his head.

"Hey there!" A man in front of a stall shouted out. "What's your name, Bud?"

"It's Yoriichi." The swordsman replied.

"Yoriichi, a strong name. I like it. Wanna try some food? We got..." The man began to list sweet dishes like mochi, yet each food had a star theme to it.

Not knowing how to handle the man's insistence on buying a product, Yoriichi ended up walking away from that place with a bag of confectionaries.

"How did I-" Yoriichi began to speak, yet someone called him from across the street.

"Mr Swordsman!" A young lady shouted as she waved towards him. "We got lots of souvenirs! Talismans, brushes, and even masks!"

"I'm quite al-"

"Nonsense! You look like you need a little lifting of your spirit. My sister-" the lady pointed to the stall next to hers that was littered with bottles.
"-sells scents. Don't be shy. They'll leave that handsome face of yours relaxed and cheery."

Before Yoriichi could protest, he somehow found himself handing the ladies several coins and collecting both a mask and a perfume that was a mixture of cherry blossoms and wisteria.

'How much have I lost...' Yoriich thought to himself as he gazed at his slowly emptying coin pouch. He kept wandering around, as his main objective was to find somewhere to stay for the night.

Within the sea of people having fun, there were several shrine priests and priestesses standing around. Their attire is distinct due to all the dark blue in their clothing being specked with white and yellow dots, as if to imitate the night sky.

'I should probably ask one of them. They seem to be acting like guides.'

"Hey, excuse me!" Yoriichi called out to the shrine maiden. The woman turned, and her eyes briefly widened. Though she had a smile plastered on her face; her eyes were examining him.

"Hello, I was wondering if I could-" Before Yoriichi could even walk to her and finish his sentence, he was pulled away by an older couple to see their clothing store.

The shrine maiden just watched as the demon slayer got dragged away to get examined for a yukata fitting.

"That poor man..." she sighed before her face turned serious.

'He looks familiar. Black hair with reddish tips... a fiery scar...' she pondered before the realisation hit her.

'Hold on, Asuka; don't make assumptions. Just because he looks similar to the mistress doesn't mean they are related.' She told herself, however, that she had already begun sprinting back to the shrine.

Asuka ran as fast as she could towards the shrine and knocked softly on the shrine door behind the curtain.

"Asuka, what is it? Are you not preparing for the 'Hoshikami Kagura'?" You asked as you slowly opened the sliding door and brushed away the curtain. You tried not to cringe at the name of the dance, as it left you embarrassed.
