The tour went quicker than I thought. Number 3 gave a thorough tour and was happy to stop in certain rooms that she probably thought were boring but stood out to me. She also explained how Number 5 and I had the only rooms on the 3rd floor, which I was a bit upset about. The one person who doesn't seem to like me that much is my neighbour, maybe that's why he doesn't like me? I mean he was probably used to just having the whole floor to himself and now I'm here, I've taken that space away.

After the tour, we went into Number 3's room to just chat about ourselves a bit more and for her to tell me what the others are truly like.

"So, I'm sure you are going to get sick of people asking you this question, so I'm going to ask first! What's your power?" Number 3 looked at me, keen to be the first one to know.

I felt a bit awkward because my answer was, I didn't know.

"Oh err, I actually don't know. Sir Reg- I mean Dad said that later on we will do some training to find out." I looked down at the floor we were sitting on.

Number 3 looked a bit let down by my answer.

"Not to worry! I'm sure you'll find it out tonight and when you do come and tell me straight away!" I could tell Number 3 was trying to make me feel a little better and I appreciated this.

"You'll be the first one to know, I promise!" I looked up at her and smiled, both of us started to giggle at this. It was nice to have a sister I could laugh with; it made me realise how lonely being an only child was.

"I actually have one question for you, why am I called Number 8 when there's only six of you?" Number 3's smile left her face, clearly, I had hit a nerve.

"Oh, yeah, we actually have another sister, Number 7. But she doesn't have any powers and normally just helps Dad out on missions. We normally only see her at breakfast, dinner and in some of our lessons."

"She must have a power if she lives here. That doesn't make any sense. Also, why not lunch?" I tried to bite my tongue as much as possible but something just didn't make sense.

Number 3 sighed.

"I know but maybe Dad just needed an assistant, it's something we just don't argue with. We have different timetables which Number 5 will tell you all about I'm sure, but our lunches never line up, especially with all our training."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up a sensitive topic, it was just something that didn't add up in my mind. Let's talk about something else, what's your favourite colour?" I wanted to change the topic quickly.

I wanted to meet Number 7 but by the sounds of it, I probably will hardly see her.

"You didn't know so no harm done silly! My favourite colour is definitely pink! A pastel pink though not a hot pink! What about you?"

"Well, I should've guessed with the pastel pink bedding! Mine is pastel purple!"

We both started laughing, "Yeah, I think I might need to incorporate other colours." Number 3 looked around her room.

"Hmm, maybe that's a good idea." I smiled.

Before Number 3 could continue our conversation, her door barged open and there stood Number 5, arms folded in front of his chest.

"How did I know you would be here? Great tour Number 3, they are waiting for you in geography."

Number 3 and I stood up and headed towards the door.

"Well, I'll see you soon!" Number 3 said as she walked down the corridor. I waved at her before she disappeared down some stairs.

"Okay, follow me. We will do this in your room." Number 5 said as we walked up to my room in silence.
