Metal scraped on the throne room floor. If it was dangerous, he couldn't really do anything for himself because of the ropes bounding his wrists. Rheton turned his head to the tall gold doors of the throne. Cazzlyn stood there. Sweat dripped from her grimey and sweaty face. She brushed her hair back and locked eyes with the king. He willed his eyes away to not look at the girl he had fallen for. She narrowed her eyes on the king. Rheton turned his head to the king's rage filled face.

"Well?" Cazzlyn scoffed. "Are you gonna let him go?"

King Basil scoffed back. "No. You two are just who we've been looking for. Plus the other two imbeciles," he grumbled at the thought of Reylyn and Scarvern.

Rheton fidgeted with the ropes. He turned his head to see them better, but his gaze landed on hers. Her eyes softened and she smiled. He felt a rush of happiness run through him.

"There's a small chance whatever you want to do won't work," she spoke to the king. "You know the problem we caused a few days ago? Scarvern rescued Reylyn."

Rheton grinned slyly. Those two were paired up for this quest. Their personalities may have clashed, but they were a great team. He hadn't even realized his fidgeting had caused him to untie his ropes.

King Basil grunted in annoyance as Rheton stood up and ran to Cazzlyn. Though the king didn't do anything to stop him. It was like he was expecting it. Rheton stepped in front of Cazzlyn and grinned at her determined look at the king. She looked away from the king and grinned back. A slight seed formed in his palm, as well as a key. The center was a heart, with the rest forming a small U.

"Ready to avenge my sister," Cazzlyn put an arrow in the slot and aimed it at the king. Squeaking boots and arguing sounded from the doors. Reylyn and Scarvern.
