"The king of Valdein has declared you as dead," Tristan grumbled. "And you," He turned his gaze at Reylyn. "Are labeled as a rogue,"

She shrugged. "I know, have been since I was eight," She replied with such a nonchalant tone that both Scarvern and Trevyonwere surprised.

"What?' she scoffed at the boys. "Why are you guys looking at me like I just burnt something?"

"I mean-,"

Reylyn combed out her hair and glanced down at her wrists, and to her amusement they were warm with fire.

"I will never get used to that," Tristan gestured to the flames now erupting from her palms.

Scarven shrugged at his brother. "She knows how to control them well,"

"Do I?" she raised an annoyed eyebrow in his direction. "Or maybe I am because I haven't lost my nerves on you, yet?"

Trevone Squirmed under her gaze as her eyes shifted to him. "And you," she narrowed her eyes on him. "Are getting on my nerves brutally,"

Scarvern elbowed his brother in the ribs. "Stop it," he warned. Trevyonquickly looked away from her and he began picking at his dirty fingernails.

Reylyn snorted gleefully at the boy.

Scarvern sighed and grabbed his brother's arm and dragged him to a tree about three feet away from her. She heard scowling from Tristen.

"Come on," Reylyn cleared her throat. "We need to get moving," That was a lie. They in fact did not have to leave. The sun was just barely peeking through the bright trees.

Scarvern turned around from the tree and raised an eyebrow at her.

"That's one way to get them going" She flinched slightly at Thatcher's voice in her head, she had completely forgotten he was still here.

"It's barely dawn," Trevyongrumbled. "Too late to move, the bugs are going crazy for my blood!"

"Too bad," she shot back as she tightened her shoelaces. "Either you like it or not-"

Suddenly lightning cackled above them, barely missing the tree she was standing by.

Scarvern eyed the dark sky. "Change of plans, Tristen, listen to the lady," he bowed down.

She rolled her eyes at him and walked away from the boys to see the now burnt tree. "See? Example number one of why we should move," It started pouring rain.
