𝟶𝟹𝟹. 𝚆𝚊𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚐𝚊𝚖𝚎 {𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚐𝚘𝚗𝚎}

Ellie stood by reception with Meredith. It had been three months since the plane crash and it was something ellie was lucky to live through. Ellie looked to Meredith and chuckled

"What" Meredith asked

"Quite the intimidation. You reminded me of mark thats all" Ellie said as Meredith smiled

"Is that a good thing" she asked as Cassie approached and smiled

"How's Rosie?"

"She misses her daddy we all do" Cassie said as Ellie placed a hand on her bump and sighed. She knew that she missed her brother too. She knew how none of it was easy

"Talking of how is derek and his arm. How is he?" Ellie asked chafing the subject

"He's good. He's still having struggles but he will okay" Meredith said as Ellie smiled

"How's mark?" Meredith asked as Ellie sighed

"He still hasn't woken up, I mean we all nearly died out there and he's just lying there. I have to make a decision in a matter of days. I know what his wishes are but how am I meant to do this. The possibility of turning off the machines that are keeping my brother alive. I know why he put me in charge he didn't want to put it on cassie. It doesn't make it any easier I mean it was always me and mark" Ellie said

"I know Lexie died and mark is fighting for his life and none of this should ever of happened" Meredith said as Ellie smiled

She knew how Meredith missed Lexie. Ellie knew how she wasn't Lexie biggest fan but being out there with Ellie and watching her die. She still had the dreams. She still had the fear that she was going to die. Ellie knew that even though Lexie had come between her and Jackson, she knew that she didn't deserve to die how she did and especially when the wolves were after her body

Ellie glanced down the hall and looked to see Jackson as he stood down the hallway. The two of them held a look. Ellie knew hie difficult that things were and how he had been her rock but she knew how it wasn't easy

Life was meant to be back to normal but Ellie didn't know just didn't know what normal consisted of especially when she had to focus on mark and the fact that she was also pregnant and the fear of loosing her only family scared her to death

Ellie stood looking at her intern and sighed "are you an idiot?" Ellie asked

"No."

"Good then you can tell me what this labs say to a small maybe. You should of got me sooner. Schedule the surgery before your the one who needs it" she yelled as her intern ran off

Cassie stood behind and laughed "don't. I have had enough of interns"

"Yeah and your hormones don't help do they" Cassie said as she stood with Rosie who reached for Ellie

"Hey Rosie roo" Ellie said as she pulled Cassie out of his arms had hugged her and smiled. She knew that she missed her and the fact that she couldn't be responsible for turning marks machine off and Rosie loosing her father scared her

"Living up to your nickname I see" Alex said as Ellie looked to him and frowned

"I have a nickname"
