Daryl's POV

We lost people today. 3 people, T-Dog, Carol, and Carl's mom Lori. We were swarmed by a pack of walkers from inside the prison. At first I thought it was Axel and his friend Oscar but I was wrong. Glenn, Rick and I were outside of the gates, trying to collect wood when they swarmed everyone else inside.

Alarms then went off drawing more walkers towards us which didn't help. We soon found out who had set the alarm off and set him in his place.

Eventually we all found eachother in the courtyard along with a suprise. Lori had a girl. Beautiful thing. Carl shot Lori. Rick lost his damn mind and went all hywire and stormed off. So I took matters into my own hands and decided to make a run for baby formula alongside Maggie.

We were about half way to our destination when Maggie tapped my shoulder and asked me a surprising question.

"You're glad that she didn't have to see that?"

"Who are you talking about?" I asked, speeding up my motorcycle.

"Amber?" She replied as the wind blew pass her hair.

"She's gone damn it. She's just gone." Was all I said before we speed off, not waisting anymore daylight. After a few hours of scavengin, we found what we needed and a few other essentials then heading back as soon as possible. We arrived and I rushed in with the formula.

"How's she doing?" I asked as I set down my crossbow onto the tabel next to me. I then walked over to Hershel and took her into my arms. I rocked back and forth until she began to fuss.

"Shhh, I'm sorry. Shhhh." I said placing the bottle into her mouth.

"She got a name yet?" I asked towards Carl. He looked down and just began saying names.

"Sofia, Carol." He let out a sigh but continued.

"Andrea, Amy, Jacqui, Patrica, or Lori. I don't know." I honestly felt bad for this kid. I looked back at the smaller figure I held in my arms as she drank from the bottle.

"You like that? Huh? Little Ass-Kicker?" I said earning a few laughs here and there.

"Right? That's a good name right?" I said towards the group.

"Little Ass-Kicker. You like that huh? You like that sweetheart?" I said looking down towards her, tilting her up a bit.

"I still love you sunshine. Even though you aren't truly mine." I thought as I rocked back and forth.

Amber's POV

Today was a particularly hot day in Woodbury. The Governor had everyone gathered outside in the town and just hang out. It was sort of a town party type of thing. I didn't want to participate but Hunter convinsed me into going anyway. We had been given cold lemonade, cold lemonade. I didn't drink it but used it to cool myself down. I was leaning against the buildings beam as I observed everyone, keeping an eye out for a certain person.

"You're imagining things, he couldn't have been here." I thought as I placed the cold cup up to my neck.

"But then who called my name?" You continued until a figure walked infront of you.

"Come on. Don't be a buzz-kill and enjoy this. Talk to someone." Said Hunter as he stood beside me and took a drink from his cup. I just laughed, earning a confused look on his face.

"You're very funny." I said, continuing to look around. He just laughed into his cup and walked away back to where we came from. I noticed a few people my age running around to my right, but I did not notice a fairly large figure walk up to me. By the time I noticed, I was too late. The one person I was avoiding was now towering right over me, only leaving a few meters from my face.

"Hello honey. Miss me?" It was Tom with his usual evil, cocky grin. I dropped my cup in surprise and growled.

"How in the hell are you still alive?" He asked. I did everything I could to hide my terror, and in my head I just kept saying, he can't hurt you anymore. I looked back at him with a smirk and began to speak.

"Hello Tom. Nice to see that you're still breathing. I kinda figured you'd drank yourself to death already." That wiped the smile off his face. He grabbed onto my right forearm and squeezed hard. I bit the inside of my cheek, trying not to show pain or fear.

"You think you're so tough you little shit?" He said as he gave my arm another squeeze. I scoffed.

"You can't hurt me anymore." I said as I looked him in the eye. The way his eyes changed to a different shade of brown scared me because I remember what would happen when they did.

"And why is that?" He said, tugging onto my arm some.

"Because there are people here, and you wouldn't want someone to see right? You wouldn't want to get caught again." I whispered, tilting my head to empathize 'right'. He glared down at me then yanked me away from the wall.

"You're coming with me." He growled.

"She isn't going anywhere with you." Said Jackson as he walked up behind Tom and grabbed his forearm. Caught off guard, Tom loosened his grip but not enough for me to break free.

"Who are you?" Tom asked, staring down at Jackson.

"Who the hell are you grabbing a girl like that?" Jackson growled, coming closer to Tom's face.

"She and I are old friends. Ain't that right?" Said Tom as he turned to look at me. I could see the fury in his crazy eyes.

"I've never seen him in my life." I said, beginning to pry my arm free from his grasp.

"Let her go." Said Jackson as he flipped Tom back around. Tom did as asked and let me go. Jackson reached his free arm out towards me to grab. I took his hand into mine and he brought me behind him.

"I don't care if you're old. If I see you touch her again, I'll beat your ass into the ground." Was all Jackson said before letting go of Tom's arm. Tom fixed his shirt then walked off with a face full of hate. If he was still the same Tom as before, someone is gonna get hurt.

"Are you okay? What did he say to you?" Jackson asked as he turned around to face me.

"Nothing, I'm fine. Really, thank you. You didn't have to do that." I said rubbing the area that was slightly sore.

"Yeah I did. Who knows what might have happened. I just know you mean a lot to the doof Hunter over there." Said Jackson as he placed his hands on his hips and nodded towards Hunter's direction. I looked over and was greeted by Hunter raising his cup at us. I just smiled and waved.

"He seems to be more attached to me than I am to him." I joked, continuing to rub my arm.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Jackson asked once more. I forced a smile and nodded.

"I'll be fine, I gotta be."
