Daryl's POV
Amber and I we're out playing in the front yard when I heard her yell my name.
"Dad!" She let out a laugh.
"Look what I found. It's a sun flower!" She contiued with the brightest smile, holding out the flower towards my direction. I sat up and walked over to her with a smile as she began to pluck at the peddled.
"Dad loves me. Dad loves me not." I heard her say as she dropped them onto the grass. She had her back turned towards me so I decided to suprise her.
"Daddy loves you!" I said with a smile as I picked her up and spun her around. I could hear her giggling as I began to tickle her.

With the thought of loosing Beth just reminded me of how I first lost Amber and how I felt after losing her. I balled up my fists as I just kept on thinking back on ways I could have helped pull Amber from the rubble or how I could have gotten to Beth faster.
Then it hit me, a slight detail I never thought of. My mind had been buried under so many things that I didnt actually realize that I saw Amber get up from the rubble before having to run off with Beth.
"Did I really see her?" I asked myself as I tilted my head, having the event play back inside my head and indeed I did.
"Oh my God, she's still alive. She's somewhere out here, shes gotta be. Unless-" I zoned everything out until I heard someone speak my name.
"What?" I asked through my raspy voice.
"What's the plan?" Joe asked as he walked along side me on the railroad tracks.
I've spent the last 2 days with these guys and honestly, I don't feel any different towards them but there's something about them. They are just a bunch of guys after all. Last night, we spent the night in the woods in this pre-made camp wrapped in barbed wire, now, we are just on the road, travelling to nowhere.
"How so?" I asked Joe.
"You're with us now, but you ain't soon?"
"Yep." I said, looking forward.
"So what's the plan?"
"Just looking for the right place is all." I said, looking over towards Joe.
"Oh, so we ain't good enough for you huh?" He said with laughter in his voice.
"Some of you ain't exactly friendly." I commented, directing it towards the Len guy.
"You ain't so friendly yourself. You know, you need a group out here." He protested. I had a group.
"Maybe I don't." I stated as I began to consider that fact that maybe I really don't need a group.
"No, you do. You should be with us." I looked at him when he said 'us.' I turned my head towards the front to find a couple walkers but were being taken cared of by the men before us.
"People don't got to be friendly. We don't have to be nice. We don't have to be brothers in arms." He paused, taking in a huff of his cigarette, then letting a puff of white smoke out.
