Amber's POV

I was outside the flower shop helping an old women carry out pots to the front of the store when I caught a glimpse of a women and a little girl pointing out some of the flowers.

"Mom, those are roses right?" Said the little girl. The older women, the mother, nodded.

"Which one should we get for grandpa?" Asked the mother. After a couple murmurs, I appeared.

"Miss, can I get 2 lilies please?" Said the mother as she pulled opened her purse and pulled out her wallet.

"Oh no, I don't work here. I'm just-" I was cut off by the owner walking out and handling the situation.

"It's okay darlin thank you. I've got it."

"Of course." I smiled and walked away as I rolled my sleeves back up. I headed back up the street when I heard someone call my name. I looked around to find Rob jogging over towards me.

"Have you seen Angie or Jackson anywhere?" He asked, stopping once he was infront of me.

"Yeah, they were over by the entrance the last time I saw them." I pointed at the red gates that separated us from the dead outside. He nodded and jogged away as I continued back to our apartment building. I stopped halfway, making another sweep of everyone but sighed in disappointment.

"I knew it was too good to be true. Merle wouldn't be here." I said to myself, sticking my hands into my pockets.

I was about to enter when something caught my eye. I saw Andrea talking to someone who had their back towards me in an alley. Curiosity took over and I went over to listen in on what they were saying.

I leaned against the store window and crossed my arms as if I wasn't doing anything but still kept a good ear in what they were saying. They were whispering so the only voice I could really recognize was Andrea.

I caught words such as farm, Route 9, and maybe a name, Sofia? He then began to hit on Andrea which I thought was kinda gross so walked away before I could hear anymore of it. Whatever they were talking about or whatever they were looking for, it must mean alot. I walked back towards the apartment building I heard someone shout followed by running footsteps.

"Lizzy watch out!" And before I knew it, I felt someone crash into me, knocking us both off our feet. I looked up to see two girls looking down at me.

"I'm so sorry, are you okay?" One said. I stood up and dusted myself off.

"Yeah, I'll be okay. Watch where your going next time okay ladies?" I said, looking back at them with a soft smile.

"My name is Mika, this is my sister Lizzy." I nodded.

"Amber. Amber Dixon, nice to meet you guys." The smaller girl which I'm guessing was Mika smiled back at me.

"She must be the one related to him." Lizzy whispered to her sister. Mika just smacked her arm and looked st her.

"Don't just assume." She whispered back. I laughed.

"Everything okay?" They both just smiled then ran away, waving goodbye. I just shook my head and entered the building, heading up the staircase provided.

I turned the corner and walked down the hallway towards the room I shared with Angie when I saw that our door was slightly open. Angie was on gate duty and the boys were out on a run with Martinez.

I crept slowly towards the door, pulling out my pistol from the holster. I stood outside the door and heard shuffling inside.

"They got people going through our stuff?" I thought. Without giving whoever was in my room another chance to take anything. I burst through the door.
