It was another sunny morning in the bustling household, and as usual, chaos was already brewing. Changbin, the loud and chaotic troublemaker, was up to his usual antics.
"Wake up, everyone! It's a brand new day!" Changbin yelled, running through the house and banging on doors.
"Changbin, stop it!" Yongbok groaned, pulling her blanket over her head.
"Channie don't know what's happening," Chan mumbled, rubbing his eyes and looking bewildered.
"Changbin, keep it down!" Hyunjin shouted from her room. "Some of us are trying to get a few more minutes of sleep."
Ignoring the complaints, Changbin bounded into the kitchen where Minho and Seungmin were already preparing breakfast.
"Good morning!" Changbin greeted them loudly, causing Seungmin to spill his coffee.
"Good morning to you too," Minho said dryly, handing Seungmin a towel. "Why so much energy this early?"
"It's a great day!" Changbin declared, grabbing a piece of toast. "What's for breakfast?"
"Pancakes and eggs," Minho replied, flipping a pancake. "And maybe some peace and quiet if we're lucky."
As the rest of the family trickled in, the teasing began.
"Someone's in a good mood," Han remarked, ruffling Changbin's hair. "Got a hot date or something?"
"Maybe he's just excited to see Innie," Hyunjin teased, giving Changbin a knowing look.
Changbin's face turned red. "Shut up, you guys!"
"Aww, is our little Binnie hyung getting shy?" Yongbok said, grinning mischievously.
"I'm not shy!"(Not ME! ITZYYYYY) Changbin protested, his voice getting louder. "And stop teasing me!"
"You make it too easy," Innie said, strolling in with her usual cool demeanor. "Morning, everyone."
Changbin's blush deepened. "M-Morning, Innie."
Breakfast was a lively affair, with everyone chatting and teasing each other. Changbin, trying to recover from the relentless teasing, decided to focus on his food. But it wasn't long before the next wave of chaos hit.
"Changbin, can you pass the syrup?" Chan asked, his voice sweet and innocent.
"Sure, Channie," Changbin said, reaching for the syrup. But in his haste, he knocked over a glass of milk, spilling it all over the table.
"Smooth move, Binnie," Han said with a laugh.
Changbin's shoulders slumped. "I didn't mean to!"
"It's okay, accidents happen," Minho said, patting his back. "But maybe try to be a little more careful next time."
"Yeah, Binnie," Seungmin added, grinning. "We know you're chaotic, but let's keep the spills to a minimum."
The rest of the day didn't go much smoother for Changbin. Every time he tried to do something, it seemed to backfire spectacularly. While playing a game of catch with Chan, he managed to throw the ball over the fence.
"Nice one, Binnie hyung," Yongbok said, shaking her head. "Now we have to get it back."
"Sorry, I'll go get it," Changbin said, climbing over the fence.
"Be careful!" Hyunjin called after him. "We don't need another disaster today."
Later, while helping Minho with some chores, Changbin accidentally broke a vase.
"I didn't even touch it that hard!" he exclaimed, looking at the shattered pieces in dismay.
"Don't worry about it," Minho said, sighing. "We'll clean it up. Just, maybe stay away from the fragile stuff for a bit."
By the time evening rolled around, Changbin was feeling more than a little sulky. He plopped down on the couch, arms crossed, a pout on his face.
"What's wrong, Binnie?" Innie asked, sitting down next to him.
"Everything's going wrong today," Changbin grumbled. "I can't do anything right."
Innie chuckled. "You’re just having one of those days. It happens to everyone."
"Not to you," Changbin muttered. "You're always perfect."
Innie raised an eyebrow. "Perfect? Hardly. I just hide my mistakes better."
Changbin looked up at her, a hint of a smile on his face. "You're pretty amazing, you know that?"
Innie rolled her eyes. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Binnie."
Changbin's smile faded a bit. "I wasn't just flattering you. I really mean it."
Innie looked at him, her expression softening slightly. "I know, Binnie. But you're pretty amazing too. You just need to believe it."
"Thanks," Changbin said, feeling a little better.
"So, what do you say we end this day on a high note?" Innie suggested. "How about we go for a walk?"
"Sure," Changbin agreed, getting up.
As they walked through the quiet neighborhood, Changbin couldn't help but feel nervous. He glanced at Innie, his mind racing. Finally, he gathered the courage to speak.
"Innie, I know I can be loud and chaotic, and I mess up a lot, but I really like you," he said, his voice trembling slightly. "Do you think… I mean, could you ever like someone like me?"
Innie stopped walking and turned to look at him, her expression unreadable. For a moment, Changbin feared he had ruined everything. But then, she smiled.
"Changbin, you drive me crazy sometimes, but I do like you," she said, her voice gentle. "You just need to learn to be a little more confident."
Changbin's heart soared. "Really? You like me?"
Innie nodded. "Yes, really. But don't let it go to your head, okay?"
"I won't, I promise," Changbin said, grinning from ear to ear.
As they headed back to the house, hand in hand, Changbin felt like he was on top of the world. Despite the chaos and the teasing, the day had ended perfectly.
And for once, he didn't mind being the center of attention.
