It was a normal Wednesday morning in the house, but the atmosphere was anything but normal. Minho and Seungmin had had a massive fight the night before over something as silly as who ate the last piece of cheesecake (It's not silly bro- I WOULD LITERALLY KILL IF SOMEONE ATE THE LAST PIECE OF MY FOOD -) The tension was palpable, and everyone in the family felt it.
"Good morning, everyone," Hyunjin said cautiously as she entered the kitchen. Minho was angrily chopping vegetables, while Seungmin was sulking at the table.
"Morning," Minho muttered, not looking up.
"Morning," Seungmin grumbled, his eyes fixed on his phone.
Han walked in, sensing the tension immediately. "Whoa, did I miss something?"
"Aunt Minho and uncle Seungmin had a fight," Chan whispered, wide-eyed.
"About cheesecake," Changbin added, rolling his eyes.
Han sighed. "Alright, everyone, let's try to fix this. We can't have them fighting over cheesecake. It's ridiculous." (Look who's saying this-)
"But how?" Yongbok asked, genuinely curious.
Hyunjin took charge. "We'll have to come up with a plan to make them patch up. But it has to be something fun and chaotic enough to distract them from being angry."
"Trust me," Hyunjin said with a mischievous grin. "I have an idea."
The first plan was simple. Hyunjin decided to set up a fake "date" for Minho and Seungmin. She convinced Han to help her, and together, they turned the living room into a cozy little café, complete with soft music, candles, and a table for two.
"Are you sure this will work?" Han asked as he lit the last candle.
"Absolutely," Hyunjin replied confidently. "Minho loves romantic settings, and Seungmin can't resist good food." (Real!😭)
When everything was ready, Hyunjin called Minho and Seungmin into the living room. "Surprise!" she said, gesturing to the setup.
"What's all this?" Seungmin asked, looking confused.
"It's a date," Hyunjin said. "For you two. We thought you could use some alone time to talk things out."
Minho and Seungmin exchanged glances, clearly unsure of what to say.
"Just sit down and enjoy," Han encouraged, guiding them to the table.
The plan seemed to be working at first. Minho and Seungmin sat down and started talking, but soon, their conversation turned into an argument about who was supposed to cook dinner that night.
"Okay, plan B," Hyunjin whispered to Han, who nodded in agreement.
The next plan involved a cooking challenge. Hyunjin divided the family into two teams: Team Minho and Team Seungmin. The goal was to see who could make the best dish using only the ingredients in the fridge.
"Alright, everyone, let's get cooking!" Hyunjin announced, clapping her hands.
Team Minho consisted of Hyunjin, Changbin, and Yongbok, while Team Seungmin had Han, Chan, and Dori the cat, who was mainly there for moral support.
As the teams got to work, the kitchen quickly turned into a chaotic mess. Ingredients were flying, pots were clanging, and everyone was yelling instructions.
"Pass me the flour!" Minho shouted.
"I need the eggs!" Seungmin yelled back.
In the midst of the chaos, Dori managed to knock over a bowl of flour, covering herself and the floor in a white cloud.
"Oops," Chan said, giggling.
Despite the mess, the teams managed to finish their dishes. Minho's team made a fancy pasta dish, while Seungmin's team whipped up a stir-fry.
"Time to taste!" Hyunjin declared, acting as the judge.
As she took a bite of each dish, she couldn't help but laugh. Both dishes were delicious, but the kitchen looked like a tornado had hit it.
"Alright, you both win," Hyunjin said, trying to keep a straight face.
Minho and Seungmin looked at each other, finally smiling. "Maybe we should clean up this mess together," Minho suggested.
"Agreed," Seungmin replied.
Despite the temporary truce, Hyunjin and Han wanted to make sure the patch-up was permanent. They decided to enlist the help of the kids for a final plan: The Sibling Intervention.
"Alright, kids," Han said, gathering Chan, Changbin, and Yongbok. "We need to come up with a plan to make sure Minho and Seungmin stay friends."
"I have an idea," Changbin said, raising his hand. "We could do a talent show and make them the judges. That way, they have to work together."
"Great idea," Hyunjin said. "Let's do it!"
The family quickly organized a talent show in the living room, complete with a makeshift stage and some homemade costumes. Minho and Seungmin were seated in the front row as the judges.
"Welcome to the Family Talent Show!" Hyunjin announced, acting as the host. "Our first act is... Changbin the Magician!"
Changbin took the stage, dressed in a cape and hat. He performed a series of clumsy but hilarious magic tricks, with Chan and Yongbok as his assistants.
"For my first trick," Changbin said dramatically, "I will make this spoon disappear!"
He waved his hands over the spoon, then quickly tossed it behind him, where it clattered to the floor. The audience burst out laughing, including Minho and Seungmin.
Next up was Chan, who did a comedy routine, followed by Yongbok, who sang a cute song. The grand finale was a dance performance by Hyunjin and Han, which was more funny than impressive.
As the talent show came to an end, Minho and Seungmin were laughing and clapping along with the rest of the family.
"Okay, judges, what do you think?" Hyunjin asked, handing them each a scorecard.
"I give it a ten for effort and a five for execution," Minho said with a grin.
"Agreed," Seungmin replied, holding up his scorecard.
The family cheered, and Hyunjin took the opportunity to wrap up the evening. "I think we can all agree that the real winner tonight is family. We may have our differences, but at the end of the day, we love and support each other."
Minho and Seungmin exchanged a look, finally understanding the point of all the chaos. "You know, maybe we did overreact about the cheesecake," Seungmin admitted.
Minho nodded. "Yeah, it was pretty silly. I'm sorry for getting so mad."
"Me too," Seungmin said, offering a handshake.
Minho took his hand and pulled him into a hug. "Let's never fight over cheesecake again."
"Deal," Seungmin replied, laughing.
