It was a bright, sunny morning. Today was Chan's birthday, and the family had planned a big celebration for their youngest member. Everyone was busy with preparations, each adding their unique touch to make the day special for the little troublemaker. (Siri, play troublemaker!)
Hyunjin was in charge of the decorations, and she was taking her job very seriously. She'd already put up streamers and balloons, but she had a very particular vision. As she climbed the ladder to hang a banner, she yelled out, "Changbin, hand me that blue balloon!"
Changbin, always the prankster, decided to hand her a balloon filled with glitter instead. "Here you go, eomma", he said, trying to keep a straight face.
As soon as Hyunjin popped the balloon, a shower of glitter rained down on her. "Changbin!" she screamed, now looking like a human disco ball. The rest of the family burst into laughter.
Minho was in the kitchen, baking Chan's birthday cake. She had everything under control until Yongbok decided she wanted to help. "I wanna mix!" she insisted, grabbing the whisk with her tiny hands.
"Okay, but be careful," Minho warned, knowing full well that this could end in disaster.
Yongbok enthusiastically started mixing, but her small hands couldn't keep up with the speed of the electric mixer. Batter flew everywhere, covering the walls, the ceiling, and both Minho and Yongbok in sticky goo.
Seungmin walked in just in time to see the mess. "Wow, looks like a cake explosion in here," he teased, earning a playful glare from Minho.
Meanwhile, Han and Innie were wrapping Chan's presents in the living room. They had picked out a bunch of toys and were trying to hide them from Chan, who was running around the house in pure excitement.
"Where's the wrapping paper?" Han asked, looking around.
Innie pointed to a corner where Chan was sitting, wrapped head to toe in the paper. "Found it," she said, giggling.
"Chan, you're supposed to wrap the gifts, not yourself!" Han exclaimed, trying to untangle him.
"I'm the present!" Chan declared, laughing uncontrollably. (The best gift ever!)
With the house decorated, the cake somehow salvaged, and the gifts finally wrapped, it was time for the party to start. The family gathered in the living room, ready to surprise Chan.
"Happy Birthday, Chan!" everyone shouted as he walked in, his eyes lighting up with joy.
The party kicked off with games. Pin the Tail on the Donkey quickly turned into chaos when Changbin decided to pin the tail on Seungmin instead. "Hey, I'm not the donkey!" Seungmin protested, trying to dodge.
Next up was the piñata. Han had filled it with candy and small toys, but he'd hung it a bit too high. Hyunjin, determined to help her son, took a wild swing and accidentally hit the ceiling light instead. The light shattered, sending everyone into fits of laughter.
Finally, it was time for the birthday song. The family gathered around the table, with Chan front and center, eagerly awaiting his cake. Minho brought out the cake, which, despite the earlier disaster, looked pretty decent.
As they started singing, Yongbok decided to add her own touch to the song. "Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to poo!" she sang loudly, causing everyone to burst into giggles.
Chan blew out his candles, but not before Changbin managed to sneak a party popper under the table, setting it off with a loud bang. Chan jumped in surprise, then laughed as confetti rained down.
With the cake eaten and presents unwrapped, the family settled down, exhausted but happy. Chan played with his new toys while the adults cleaned up the aftermath of the chaotic but fun-filled day.
" I think we need a vacation after this," Seungmin said laughing.
Hyunjin, still slightly glittery, smiled at Chan, who was beaming with joy. "I think he had a great time," she said.
