It was an ordinary Tuesday morning when Seungmin's friend group and his family members decided to pull off the most random prank yet—fake-kidnapping Minho. Seungmin, the innocent puppy of the family, had no idea what his friends were planning, neither Minho had any idea about the choas.
Seungmin’s friend, Jackson, and his family member han was the mastermind behind the prank. "We’ll grab Minho when she’s least expecting it," Jackson explained to the group. "It’ll be hilarious! Seungmin’s always talking about how nothing fazes her, so let’s see how cool she stays under pressure."
The others—Eric, yeji, and jyp(😏 why not?)—were all in. They knew Minho’s reputation for being unshakable and figured this would be the ultimate test. The plan was quite simple,Jackson would lure Minho out, and the rest would play the role of masked kidnappers. The twist? Seungmin wouldn’t know anything about it until the prank was already in motion. (Bro choosing death)
Jackson knew Minho’s routine like the back of his hand. She always took a morning walk through the neighborhood park, enjoying the peace and quiet before the day’s chaos began. Today was no different as usual,Minho had her headphones in, completely lost in her thoughts as she strolled along the path.
Jackson approached her casually, pretending to be out for a jog. "Hey, Minho!" he greeted her, slightly out of breath. "Mind if I join you?"
Minho, always polite, nodded. "Sure, Jackson. What’s up?"
"Oh, nothing much. Just thought I’d get some fresh air before work," Jackson replied, keeping it cool.
They walked and chatted for a bit, with Jackson subtly steering Minho toward the quietest part of the park. As they rounded a bend, he subtly glanced at his watch, right on time.
Without warning, a black van screeched to a halt next to them. The doors flew open, and three masked figures jumped out, grabbing Minho before she could react. Jackson pretended to struggle with them, shouting, "Let her go!" but it was all part of the act.
Minho, caught off guard, tried to fight back, but they had her in the van within seconds. As the van sped off, Minho’s heart raced. "What the hell is going on?" she shouted, kicking at the door.
Yeji, playing the role of the ringleader, tried to suppress her laughter as she deepened her voice. "Just stay quiet, lady, and you won’t get hurt."
Minho, ever the fighter, narrowed her eyes. "You’re going to regret this."
Meanwhile, Jackson pretended to chase after the van, shouting, "Minho! I’ll get help!" before breaking into a grin the moment the van was out of sight. Everything was going according to plan—or so they thought.
What Jackson and his friends didn’t know was that Minho had recently started taking self-defense classes. And while she was initially stunned, it didn’t take her long to start piecing things together. She noticed the slight hesitations in their actions, the nervous laughter they tried to hide.
In the back of the van, Minho took a deep breath. “You guys seriously think this is going to scare me?” she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
The three friends exchanged nervous glances. “Uh, just stay quiet,” yeji said, trying to stay in character.
Minho smirked. "I’ve seen scarier clowns at a kid’s birthday party." Before they could react, she lashed out with a swift kick, hitting yeji square in the shin.
“Ow! Hey, that wasn’t part of the plan!” yeji yelped, dropping the tough act immediately.
Minho crossed her arms, looking more annoyed than frightened. “So, what’s the endgame here? You planning to ransom me for lunch money?”
Jyp pulled off his mask, looking sheepish. “Uh… this isn’t going how we expected.”
“That’s because you underestimated me,” Minho shot back, rolling her eyes.
When the van finally pulled into a secluded area, Jackson was waiting, grinning like a maniac. But the moment he saw Minho’s unimpressed expression, his grin faltered.
“You didn’t scare her at all, did you?” Jackson asked, already knowing the answer.
Minho stepped out of the van, dusting herself off. “You boys need to work on your acting skills. Maybe take a drama class or two.”
The group burst out laughing, the prank clearly backfiring. Minho couldn’t help but laugh too, seeing how hard they had tried and failed to rattle her.
Seungmin, who had finally been clued in by a nervous eric, arrived on the scene looking flustered. “Minho! I had no idea—I swear, I didn’t know about this!”
Minho patted his shoulder reassuringly. “Relax, Seungmin. Your friends here just wanted to see if they could scare me. Spoiler: they couldn’t.”
Jackson, still laughing, approached Minho. “Okay, you win this round. But next time, we’ll get you.”
Minho smirked, “You can try, but I wouldn’t bet on it.”
one thing was for sure,no one in that group was going to mess with Minho anytime soon.
