Chapter 16

The next day I was getting ready with Emma. Emma says,
" I can't believe Sage twisted his ankle "
I roll my eyes and nod my head Sage and Luke was getting ready Luke says
" How did you trip over the dog man ?"
Sage says
" He was in my way man"
Luke giggles . Sage wraps a bandage around his ankle then gently puts his shoe on. Emma was dressed in a yellow off the shoulder dress. She looked stunning. My niece Amber and nephew Roman were dressed as a flower girl and ring bearer. Emma finishes my makeup and hair I look in the mirror Emma helps Me in my dress Emma says
" Are you ready to become Ms Navarro?"
I nod my head yes Sage and Luke stand at the altar my Mom Elena sits down on a chair my dad Seth walks into the room he takes my arm Seth says
" You look beautiful, princess. I'm so proud of you. Are you ready ?
I thanked my dad. We walked outside Emma and the kids walked down the aisle. The song in case you didn't know starts playing I walk down the aisle with my dad he hands my hands to Sage.
Sage says
" wow you're so beautiful "
I smile I say
" Thanks baby you're so handsome "
Sage thanked me. The priest starts the ceremony. My dad sits down .The ceremony was beautiful. We placed the rings on each other's fingers. We shared a kiss and everyone clapped. Cole the doctor appears Cole says
" No stop"
Sage says
" What does this idiot want?
I say
" What do you want Cole?
Cole says
" You're mine I love you please marry me we shared a magical night a week ago"
Sage says
" Did you sleep with him ?
I nod my head no Sage whispers
" Can I kill him?
Cole pulls a gun out and points it at Sage Luke standing near Emma and the kids. Sage says
" put the gun down Cole "
Cole says
" she is mine she belongs to me come with me Mariah"
I say
" I never touched you, we never had a moment you only thought we did please leave I love Sage I'm married to him ".
Cole pulls the trigger and Sage jumps in front of me Sage falls to the ground. I scream
"Baby"
Cole runs away Luke runs to us  Luke takes Sage and I to the hospital
After Sage was treated for gunshot wound he was laying in the bed he was admitted the night
Cole Darkone walks into the hospital room, he hugs me then hugs Sage . He was our best friend Cole says "

"  congratulations guys "I roll my eyes and look at Cole Sage shakes his head. Emma giggles Luke says
" We need a drink"
I roll my eyes I say
" I'm pregnant bro I can't drink"
Cole says
" woohoo babies to cuddle and thank god you're saved Sage man"
Everyone laughs Luke and Emma brought the wedding party to the hospital room Emma says
" speech time "
I pour everyone a glass of water. Everyone takes turns doing speeches. I shed tears. It was mine and Sage turn to say something I look at Sage  Sage says
" Thanks guys for all your help for helping Mariah and I. This day was amazing. apart from getting shot Mariah I love you so much I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you you made me the happiest man alive let's toast to my beautiful bride ".
Everyone toast to you I take a deep breath I stand near Sage I say
" Thankyou every one thank you Emma even though it's been crazy well the last hour this day has the most amazing day to me I became Ms Navarro I married my soul mate I love you so much Sagey I can't wait to spend forever with you"
Sage smiles then he kisses me I return the kiss everyone says
"aww"
We all toast, we drink ,we talk, we laugh. After a few hours every one leaves Sage says
" Ready to go on our honeymoon?
The next day Sage was discharged from the hospital we arrived at the airport
I smile Sage and I arrived at the  private cabin in Hawaii I look around I clap my hands I say
" This is perfect baby thankyou so much "
Sage says
" always beautiful "
Sage and I looked around the cabin. It was cozy: a small sofa with television, a small kitchen, a small bedroom with a king size bed. I smiled. It was perfect.
I giggle and nod my head yes. After we make love . Sage and I spent the most amazing week in Hawaii  seeing the sights sailing and much more. We left Hawaii after the week   I was happy we were home.
The Next few weeks went by fast seeing the doctor, working and getting back into a routine. Sage has been amazing; he won't let me lift anything though. I sat on the sofa Sage sits near me and holds me I jump Sage says
" What's wrong baby?
I reply
" I think I felt a kick"
Sage puts his hand on my stomach the baby kicks Sage smiles Sage says
" definitely a kick and it's early he will be a soccer player "
I reply
" What if it's a girl?
Sage says
" Aww a princess she can play soccer but no dating until she is 55 "
I laugh then kiss Sage's cheek. I say
" What do you think of Ric as a boy?
Sage says
" I love it, what about Samantha for a girl?
I smile and nod yes they were perfect names. My phone rings. I answered my phone. I speak on the phone and I end the call. I say
" Baby that was my boss I just got promoted "
Sage says
" congratulations baby I'm so proud of you"
I've been working from home since I was pregnant they put me reports and prescriptions and business side of nursing
I smile as Sage kisses my face all over. I laugh. I think to myself wow a promotion I'm so happy I have the perfect life. Suddenly I get a cold chill. I think to myself I have a bad feeling.
