Two months later we are still adjusting to life with a baby. Sage says
"Baby why does he always explode when I change his diaper I keep getting poo on me "
I laugh out loud.
"I always get lucky darlin '."
Sage sighs and picks up Ric ,Sage walks to me.Sage hands Ric to me Sage says
"Baby he must hate me then I always get targeted "
I explain to Sage what babies are like Sage smiles .I say
"Let's go for a walk in the park"
Sage says
"We need a hat and protective clothing he can't get the sun on him and sunscreen "
I smile as Sage tells me what we need for Ric. He is going to be overprotective. I say
"I've noticed you have been reading the parent book baby "
Sage says
"I'm learning baby it's amazing what's in that book"
I put Ric in his stroller and I cover him with a blanket. I finish packing the baby bag Sage and I walk outside Sage locks the door Sage says
"Can I push? I want to show him off"
I smile and nod yes Sage is an amazing dad I love the way he is with Ric. Sage and I walk to the playground. Sage sings songs Sage smiles and nods at people walking past. He is such a proud dad Sage and I play on the playground with Ric Sage tells Ric what swings are he talks to him pointing to things. I smile Sage says
" I wonder if he understands "
I giggle Sage and I leave the playground we walk home .Sage picks up Ric Sage sits on the sofa Sage puts Ric on his chest and sings to him I sit near Sage I smile I kiss Sage's cheek then Ric cheek. I hopped up and started cleaning. After cleaning I walked into the living room. I see my two boys asleep together. The most precious moment is watching them sleep together. I sit down, cuddle with Sage and I fall asleep.
The Next Day Sage went to work I placed Ric into a baby swing .Ric cries I pick him up I rock him I say
" you just want cuddles buddy "
Ric snuggled into my chest and I smile. I start dancing with Ric I sing to him after a few hours I cleaned with one hand I had to learn to multitask with a baby .Sage walks in Sage kisses our cheeks I smile Sage looks at me Sage says
" Baby go rest I watch him"
I didn't argue. I handed Ric to Sage. I walked to the bedroom. I lay on the bed and fell asleep. Sage says
" boy time let's teach you to play the play station "
Sage and Ric sits on the sofa Sage takes the control and helps Ric play the game Sage says
" you are an natural buddy "
I Slept for a few hours. I walked out to the living room. I see Sage is telling Ric how to play the game. I smile . I sit on the sofa Sage kisses my cheek I smile Sage says
" Pizza on the table and he is a professional playing this game "
I giggle. I take a slice of pizza and eat .Sage and I spend time with Ric. I love family time. After seven hours we put Ric to bed, Sage and I climbed into bed and cuddled. I hear a noise outside then it disappeared Sage says
" probably kids walking on the beach baby "
I nod my head I cuddle to Sage we talk.the next day Luke,Emma, Seth, Elena and the kids came over we all had a lunch together everyone loved Ric I was speaking to Emma I smile as Luke was holding Ric Emma says
" He is amazing dad "
I reply
" when is your next one "
Emma says
" maybe one day we are enjoying having two Roman is five years now Amber is a teenager so hopefully soon "
I smile at Emma. I talked to everyone. It was an amazing day. I hugged everyone goodbye. Everyone leaves I start cleaning up Sage puts Ric to bed Sage walks to me Sage helps me clean Sage says
"He was so tired baby he was fast asleep"
I reply
"He was baby he Met everyone they wore him out"
Sage and I cleaned the house until it was clean. Sage walks to the doors and locks both doors.Sage locks every window we walk to the bedroom we changed into our pajamas Sage and I lay in bed Sage holds me in his arms.we fall asleep .
The Next day Sage took Ric to the beach I walked to the side of the garage .I noticed the door was opened I checked around nothing was missing I checked my car I think to myself maybe Sage left it opened I closed the garage door .I walked to the beach to Sage and Ric I kiss their cheeks Sage smiles I say
"Baby did you leave the garage open?
Sage nods his head no I think that's weird maybe the wind .Sage and I had an amazing day on the beach with Ric we walked home I Put Ric to bed I whisper
"Sweet dreams my angel I love you "
I kiss ric on the cheek softly. I smile. I walk to Sage. I smiled as Sage was making us tea. I walk to Sage. Sage hands me a cup I thanked him Sage says
"Always beautiful "
We drank our tea, we washed our cups and I walked to the bedroom. I smile seeing the dog asleep near the crib. We changed our Clothes we climbed into bed. Sage holds me. I think to myself this was a perfect day so yesterday I love family time. I made a bet with Emma that she will be pregnant soon. She told me if I win she will do my housework for a week. We laughed if she wins. I do her housework and I think she will lose .
I smile Sage smiles at me Sage says
" You're thinking about Emma and how these last two days have been perfect but every moment with you is perfect "
I smile. I love how he treats me and how he knows my thoughts. I say
" I am baby every moment with you is perfect it's amazing "
Sage smiles. I smile and we fall asleep together cuddling.
